What stamp image would you nominate for being an image that will never fade from popularity - that has been in production for years and years - that you see others using over and over again - that you would never, ever want to part with?
My nominee is "Frosty" by Penny Black. It probably helps that it is a Christmas image that gets hauled out of storage year after year for cards - like a treasured ornament. I have probably collected a couple dozen images of how others used it, although it isn't really an image you can stretch into very different interpretations.
Anyway, what's your All-time Classic? A poppy, a landscape, a design element?

Great question! Assuming I can’t pick a set, the single stamp I’d settle on is probably Bubble Border by Lost Coast Designs. I’ve had mine for a decade and I still find ways to make it look different. It often draws very positive comments when I post a card made with it and it’s super-versatile. Lost Coast are a smaller company so I guess you don’t see as many people using it but it always makes me smile when I do see it.
Great thread! It is fun to see other stampers' long-time favorites. My vote for a classic is Stampin' Up Lovely as a Tree. It was in the catalog foreverX2 and many people still ink it up for masculine cards and use the tall pine for Christmas cards.

My all time favorite is the SU stamp set, Roses in Winter. No longer in production, so I’m glad to have it in my collection! Lovely as a Tree is a close second!
Unfortunately, the Lost Coast Design web site does not let me bookmark a specific stamp. All I have bookmarked are the categories: Doodlings, Backgrounds, Bubbles, and something called Flying Pig 2 (?). So, who knows what I had in mind when I bookmarked them!
Those borders are great! Makes me want to go unmount all of my wheel stamps and use them as borders. Thanks for sharing!

Flying Pig 2 is a fun image (it’s on the page called Carri’s monsters, flying pig and Brunhilda). Lots of lovely stuff in backgrounds and doodling too! It is a bit of a nuisance not being able to go to individual stamps, isn’t it?
Lovely as a Tree set comes to mind, especially the oak tree
. It is so versatile. Will have to look in my craft room and see what others I grab a lot. I know you said stamps, but I use the dotted swiss embossing folder often.
I have unmounted all my roller stamps. Easier storage, but I do admit I forget to use them.
Fun thread!
My absolute favorite is Peace and Comfort from the 1999 Catalog Supplement 1999 of Stampin" Up. I wish I had kept a running count on how many times I have used this sympathy set Sold back then in $14.95. Lovely As A Tree first appeared in 2001-2002 catalog of Stampin' Up. with a price of $24.95. That is also a set that I will never part with.
Two stamps that I actually bought duplicates of in case the first ones stop working are Stampendous Snowy Postcard and Impression Obsession Santa Horses. I make mostly Christmas cards and I use those two every year.

I'm surprised that no one has mentioned the old PSX floral stamps series. I have a number of them, not one particular favorite, but I wouldn't want to part with them.

I am a snowman person and this is one I absolutely love: Rubber Cottage/Let it Snow
I never would part with it. Plus, my sister gave it to me because she knew I would love it. Don't know
about others using it a lot...could be just me. https://rubbercottage.com/products/let-it-snow

I think alot of Penny Black - Margaret Sherry stamps are timeless and I am still using ones that I bought many years ago. One in particular that I have used time and time again for masculine cards is 'For you' which is a dog holding a present. Such a simple image but just so fun. I can't seem to find an image online of the stamp so I have attached a picture of one of my cards that used it on.
I have also used Stampin' Up Dasher countless times.

When I first bought Dasher, I used it often. Then it vanished. Found it during a move and you have inspired me to use it a bit for Christmas '22.

I think it is such a lovely stamp that you can use in a variety of colours and styles. I think this is my most-used SU stamp.
Who remembers Eat Cake Graphics? I have no idea if they are still in business or what but I can never part with any of those stamps. I still smile when I look at them ;).
I remember. Eat Cake Graphics is still around. I have the snow angel on my wish list (along with the dog greeting Santa Claus, the Four Stages of Life, and a few others). eat cake graphics
