Default All dressed up die tips needed

Hello, I've been trying to make a purse for the first time using the All Dressed Up dies. I started with dsp but it cut on the score lines. So I just tried stampin up cardstock and it did the same thing but didn't start falling apart until I was putting it together.

Has anyone else had this problem, and do you have any tips, maybe the plate you used, I don't want to waste any more paper til I have an idea what to change.

I appreciate any input,
Thanks, Laurie

I do not have these dies but will throw some ideas your way

Have you tried using a thin silicon mat under it when cutting ? It should create a surface just soft enough to cut through where it's supposed to and score where it's supposed to

Are you using the metal plate, magnetic plate, or standard plate? One might work better than another

Have you tried placing the die in different areas of the plate?

If trying a few more different ways doesnt help then I encourage you to reach out to your demonstrator or SU directly. They might replace it for you.
