I recently tried stamping a candle and love it too! I would think you could easily add glitter after you've completed it, using either Crystal Effects or white glue. I'm not sure how the glue pen would stick long term to the wax. I have made up a gold spray using Pearl Ex and hairspray and sprayed that over the candle when it was done--gave it a subtle sheen.

I don't know about embossing, but I'll bet it would be easy to test out on a scrap of tissue.

Default embossing candles

I embossed the tissue & then melted it to the candle. It was my first embossed candle. I have done lots of candles with just stamping on tissue & then heating to the candle. It turned out really cute Someday, I'll learn how to download my pics to display on SCS!

You can stamp the candle with glitter. They are really cool. Just put your stamp into the glitter then use your heat tool to melt the wax a little then stamp on the candle. Gets a little messy so be sure to have paper down.

Default glitter candles

Hi, I'm thinking about trying this too and just saw in the "Anything but a card" gallery that a lady had done the tissue technique on her candle and heated it to melt....then she painted the whole thing with mod podge and rolled it in crystal like glitter. They are absolutely stunning! Go to the gallery and pull it up and put candle in your search. It should come up then...Good luck! Let us know how it comes out!
