Oh my. I have quickly become addicted to this site. I can't seem to stay away. I have really gotten some great ideas, am loving the challenges and have made a few friends already. I so should be getting some work done, but it is much more fun here.
I do the same thing. I know I need to stamp and get stuff made....but I cruise the site instead. It's my DBF's fault....he bought me a pretty new computer and cards just look SO lovely on the screen, lol!!!

LOL, but seriously it is VERY addictive. I spend about 7 of the 8 hours I am at work on this site, I have a serious problem...but my stamping is improving, isnt that what matters??
And don't EVER go into one of the galleries looking for an idea to case, you will be sucked in and lost forever!! Especially really large ones, like Lovely As A Tree, Heartfelt, etc. Literally, lost forever! It is almost *too* much! You know you need to slow down when you have 849 cards saved to your favorites!! Anyone else got more then that saved?

Oh my goodness that is so making me laugh! I even set the timer for the oven and hear it buzzing away and think to myself "oh, I have a minute or 2 to spare" and then suddenly the buzzer has faded from my earshot and I am jumping up 10 minutes later to the burned "whatever" in the oven ROTFLMAO!!!
LMAO... Okay, now I am not sure if you guys made me feel better or if you just scared me. I totally ran to look at a card while I was heating up left-overs last night.. Why Left-overs you ask? Well because all day at work, I had ideas buzzing around in my head for one of the challenges, and then I had to stop at Hobby Lobby on my way home to get something I didn't have (with a room full of supplies, it always amazes me how I could possibly not have something I need), and by the time I got home, who had time to cook. Yikes, tell me that the obsession eventually wears off.

May I suggest you HIDE your credit cards. The enabklers on this site will cost you BIG money on all the wonderful things you will just HAVE to have!!!!!!! LOL. WELCOMEand enjoy yourself.
I am pretty new to this site, but I am so happy to hear that everyone else gets sucked in too. I just keep finding so much that I have to see, and you all are right, hide those credit cards. I have fallen in love with so many cards that I think my wish list is 4x the size that it once was!!! Help!!!

Oh, I sooolo hear you.....I am now on 2 weeks vacation, and it gets worse, now I'm on here day AND night....don't have to keep a look-out for the boss...heehee..
I'm supposed to be CLEARING my room out to make room for more storage units I bought at IKEA....but of course I keep stopping to see what's new in the past 30 minutes........LOL
Oh, I'm so glad I'm not alone - since I started stamping not quite two years ago, my checkbook's balance has really taken a big dip. I also love this site to the extent that I do more looking that stamping at times. I actually took a vacation day and didn't tell any of my pals or family that I was taking it so I could actually get some stamping done. Now, that's pitiful, but it worked!
It does not wear off...it gets worse and worse and worse. Don't be scared though! Let's face it, we could be doing much much worse things.....having much worse habits!

I LOVE it! I've thought about doing that, haven't managed to pull it off yet. You GO!!!!! Not pitiful at all...sounds very life-affirming!

Lol, My DH never worried about me replacing him with another man, but he is getting nervous since I found this site and started up stamping again, lol! He is watching the boxes arrive at the door wondering what next! But what a wonderful place to grow as a stamper!!!! All of your ideas, tips, and helpfulness have made my passion grow for this wonderful addiction. ( He will probably be contacting your husbands for Stamperonon meetings!)
