I am repeating a thread I posted in announcements section.
As many of you know by now 7kidscollegefunds.com is ending its amazing journey soon. I became a customer when they were on ebay selling among other items sookwang tape at discount prices. Then 7kids became an online store leaving eBay, but not it's customers behind. I am sure you guys will send best wishes to them as they have served us well!

I suggest people subscribe. The discounts will be changing and you will need codes.

I just looked at their website. But I can't find anything on it. About them closing their store.

No-oddly they have not put it on the site. They sent out email to their lists-which is why I am saying subscribe.

The deal is they are doing 1/3 the inventory each week. They will start at like 20% and go up from there during the week-but you need codes. I dont know how much longer after the 3 weeks they will go-have not said but I assume they will want to clear as much as possible.

What I want to find out about is when they start a new week at 20-does the week before stay at the higher level and can they hold it till the end to ship altogether?

All inventory reverts to 20% come Monday to start the cycle again. The next 1/3 of inventory will be added as well. Then the third week it will happen again as the last 1/3 of inventory will be added.

They cant hold orders from week to week to combine to save on shipping. They are swamped with orders and strongly suggest if you see it and really want it, grab it now.

After the three weeks are done...she is going to do bigger discounts on everything at once, but once she hits that she wont do free shipping. (70% plus)

She may adjust her next email to reflect this. (to her subscription list)

I see nothing on the website to indicate which 30% of inventory is 20% off.

I'm wondering if she got all 7 kids through college, so she's retiring?!

That's because she isnt showing it online. You have to get the emails from her to get a code which keeps changing. You need to subscribe to the newsletter. It wont be for long as she is closing. I'd do it today as I expect she will email again tomorrow.

It is the stuff under clearance. But you dont get the add discounts without the code.

She told me she is already totally swamped and I can believe it. Stuff started flying when she hit 50% this week.

Just got email confirming that someone has bought 7Kids! Owner is elated. Good for her. So store will remain opened but I sure there will be some changes. Discounts continue/ Probably to lessen inventory.

I thought they had a lot of their own dies, but I have looked on the site last week and this week and don't see any. Was I imagining that? Or was it another company? I recall a post from Amber a few years ago talking about their dies and really liked them but never ordered any. Amber, was this 7 kids or another company?

I got an email saying someone is going to buy the company from them-so it will live on. One of them actually does have 7 kids too!

She is still doing the sale though. And hat people have to use up their points and credits.

Going off topic here, but I have to say I love, love, love Gina Marie dies. When I first read on here about them being so inexpensive, I didn't believe it. I thought it was too good to be true. Dozens of dies later, I can say I've never come across dies that cost less. She ships super fast, and they're good quality. AND she's a super sweet lady.
