What Christmas words would you use for a block display?
thinking of 3-5 letters, I want to maybe make 2 to 4 sided so I can change it around sometimes.
I am thinking of making some 3-D blocks not sure if I’ll use wooden so there’s only two sides to the block or just make it out of cardstock and Maybe have a square box- 4 sides, who knows if I’ll even get to this project. Xmas cards first, but I do need another Holiday Decoration to fit on my 8” tall x 20” wide shelf
Please add ideas to my list!
Words I can think of,
Merry
Joy
Peace
Snow
Brrr
Unfortunately winter or Ba Humbug doesn’t fit, lol
Images would be on a few, such as
Snowflake
Poinsettia
Just thought I’d put this idea out there and see what people have already come up with!
If you have projects you’ve already made/seen, please share pics.
When I did mine I used blocks from stamps that I unmounted, but I attached a binder clip to the top to use as a "photo holder" and made individual letters to put in them. That way I wasn't limited to particular words or whatever. I made them a VERY long time ago, but I think they're in my gallery... Yup! Found 'em (2010):
I obviously used the word "Joy", so I'm not helpful there...
Noel
Cheer
Bells
Birth
Elf or Elves
Frosty
Jolly
Star
Santa
Magi
Mary
Jesus
Baby
Jolly

If you actually get wooden blocks, they have six sides. You can make a Christmas set and a Thanksgiving set and....... whatever. Turn the blocks around, put the extras in the closet.
