I was just reading Dinea's thread regarding swap snobs, and laughing. I just wanted a clarification. What is considered a 3-D swap? Since this was my first convention and swap I made card fronts and post-it note keychains. I wasn't sure what to expect. On the first day no one wanted the keychains and I was told by some that they would only swap 3-D. I thought the keychains were 3-D, but I guess not. (I have been wrong before, shhhh don't tell DH I said that) Once everyone got their bags I had no trouble with the keychains because everyone wanted to put them on their bag for identification. People are funny. I will know better next time, but for now, again what is considered 3-D?
I took 85 mini post-it-note key rings also and they were gone the first day. I consider a 3D item anything other than a completely flat item like a card front, trading card, or scrapbook page ... although I did trade several of mine for cardfronts if the person asked if I would. I figured they must really want one if they asked, and I would never turn anyone down.

stampersim, these are precious! I would love to know how to make these. I'm headed to your blog to see if you have more deets.
These are sooooo easy (and they were fast!).
Mini post-its (1-1/2" x 2").
Divide post-it pad into 3.
Strip of CS measuring 1-1/2" x 3-3/8"
I put some snail on the back side of the pad and stuck on the edge of the CS, then just wrapped it around using my bone folder to crease the edges. No pre-scoring ahead of time ... too time consuming! LOL.
Use crop-a-dile to punch hole in the corner. Slap on a scalloped punch on the front, a ring in the hole, and tie a couple ribbon scraps onto the ring.
Hope this helps !!

To me, anything that is NOT a card front (no matter what size, ATC, A2, whatever) is a 3-D swap! JMO
LisaPage ( I think I am going to refer to myself from now on using the "one" word- LisaPage. That is the way I say it when talking to others, so why not?

I made the same type and just used a different circle stamp sets on the front. They did go once people had bags in hand, but I was surprised at how many people said they were only looking for 3-D and passed these up initially. I was just curious. I also traded card fronts and when they were gone I did have people trade card fronts for the key chains. Some looked surprised that I would trade something that wasn't a card front and in exchange take a card front. I guess I'll get the hang of it with a couple more conventions under my belt. I am glad that a lot of you considered these 3-D though. Thanks
Just wondering...do you punch through the post it notes also??? This is definately getting CASEed. Thanks for the ideas.
