I just finished up an order of 2200 cards for my DH's employer. I know that there are others on SCS that do bigger orders than this, but I'm so happy that I got them finished by the beginning of November and just wanted to share!!!
They're all one design, and they're big. One sheet of cardstock, scored and folded in half. I don't think that they're in my gallery, but I did post a picture of it on my blog in early October when I was trying to get them done. If I see another piece of Kiwi Kiss paper again in the next little bit, I'll scream
Did you take a picture of the stacks? I just wonder what 2,200 cards looks like!
ETA: I know your twin! I taught with her in Carrollton (she was art) and you two could be twins..really..you could! Her name is Susan Gabbard. Last I hear she was teaching in Oklahoma City.

Reason: added twin info
okay... i thought i had it bad doing 125 every year. (Although my cards are heavily layered and usually coloured with copics etc...) but just that number.. 2200... WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh my word! I am getting an anxiety attack just thinking of that number. My biggest order was a little over 700 (and I had help from a friend!), a couple of years back. There were like 9 different designs. My biggest order this year is a whopping 25.
Way to go, girl. I wouldn't want to see KK again, either!

No, unfortunately I didn't, and I'm just searching for a box to put the last 100 cards/envelopes in. I should have, just for posterity sake.
BTW... that's hilarious that you've found my twin! They say that everyone in the world has one.
How long did it take you? I cannot imagine ever having to make that many cards at one time!
I haven't a clue how many I've made over the whole of my cardmaking - can other people guess how many they've done over their whole cardmaking lifetime?
Holy cow!! Congrats to you and here is a big pat on the back! I don't think I've even come close to making 2200 cards in my meager stamping career. Did it drive you nuts to have to make the same card over and over again? I don't think I could do it...
I hope you got paid very well and your cards are lovely too!
It was certainly tedious after awhile, and I really didn't like the colours on the card. Of all of the cards that I offered up, this was the one that I liked the least. But, they liked it, and they paid me to do it, so all's good.
Congratulations! What an accomplishment...one I don't think I would ever
attempt. Now you can enjoy the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. Good for you!!!

WOW! That is amazing! Congrats on getting them done...I thought I was going to go nuts making 150 programs for my brother's wedding, I don't know how you managed!
Holy cow, I can't even imagine the adhesive you went through!
It was a lot. At least it was only one layer though!!! I have an ATG tape runner, and went through around 14 rolls of tape. Way more economical than any of the traditional options!!!
