Last call for the items in Post #114.
Pat, I am glad you found the things you were looking for. I hate it when I can't find something, and sometimes it is right in front of me, and I just don't see it.

Chris, now, if I could only find the penguin's foot!!! I was clipping the dies apart that make a really cute penguin and one foot went FWANG!!! and flew off. I have searched and searched, but can't find it. It's a bitsy little thing, maybe a third of an inch square. So far, I have refused DH's request that I vacuum the craft room, because I'm afraid I won't see it and it'll get sucked up. I did recently find an ornament top die that did the same flying away act on me, but I'd rather find the penguin's foot (I have many little ornament top dies). I can actually manage without the foot die- I cut 2 of the foot I have, and turn one over. It works, but I'd prefer perfect.

Pat, do you have a strong magnet? Sometimes I use the magnet and my daughter's eyes, to find a die that went far into the carpet.

I use a bright flashlight and shine it closely to the rug or carpet so it will reflect off the metal.

Pat, I'm glad you figured out a way to fix the penguin's missing foot. I bet they look really cute!

WAY ahead of you Lisa! I have a yardstick with a stack of 4 ultrastrong neodymium magnets taped to the end. I use that to pick up anything metal that I drop.

I love the "snick" of hearing the die click onto the magnet!

Arlene, the problem is when a bit goes flying, it could be anywhere in the room, not just dropped where I'm sitting. The little ornament top I found was across the room by my guillotine cutter- maybe 8 feet from the desk (not to mention with all the stacks and piles and boxes, anything could land IN something {yes, I am a slob, unfortunately})
I try and remember to prevent bits going airborne when I'm cutting them apart by covering what I'm cutting if I can, but hey! I'm old, and sometimes I forget.

It's especially cheap if you get the yardstick free, like at the State Fair...(ALWAYS take a free yardstick!)

BTW- when fishing under the desk trying to find the foot, my magnetic yardstick also picked up tons of those little metal bits from cutting apart the joined dies. I don't go barefoot anymore (gotta wear shoes to keep MY feet from swelling), but those bits would hurt if I did!

I put two PIFs in the mailbox this morning, and then hubby reminded me later that it is a federal holiday. DER! So they will go out in tomorrow's mail. (Boy Racer stamp set and sneakers)
Hope everyone had a good day.
I should have some more to share soon. Joan, hopefully I will have some things you could use.

All are spoken for...
I have some card kits to offer. I can only mail in the U.S..
(1) Hydrangea card kit (2 cards) SPOKEN FOR
(2 of these) Yellow Flowers (2 cards)
SPOKEN FOR
(1) Wreath (2 cards) Square cards SPOKEN FOR

They include the card stock layers, card bases and envelopes.
I was told that these could be used for watercolor; that is a lie! lol..I tried it and the paper warped. I admit I didn't try it with watercolor pencils and a blending pen. I may try that later. They work great with alcohol markers and coloring pencils though. Makes for a fast card to put together.

I just heard that CTMH will be closing their doors the end of June. So sad. Although, I don't have but a few of their stamps, it's still a downsize in the industry.

I saw a video on that yesterday or the day before. I posted a note in the general stamping part of this forum. I had to go look at their site. I had no idea how many stamps they had and also card kits. It is sad they are closing.

You are so welcome! Hope you enjoy them!
That is sad about CTMH. I have a fair number of their stamps, as I had a friend that sold for them. They are good quality. I know when my friend was with them; they seemed to be geared more toward scrapbooking.

I'm wondering becuase I have a few used sets and the packaging says "my acrylix" and they are felxible in a way that my other stamps are not. Might they be acrylic? They do have nice sets and it is sad that they are closing.

Just thought I would mention that the #3 set on Arlene's list is a gorgeous stamp set. I own it and have made several cards with it.
