Default 2010 scrapbook expo reviews?

Has anyone been to the scrapbook expo this year? Would like reviews of any workshops being offered.

There are many scrapbook expos. Can you be more specific?

Our Scrpbook Expo is not until October and it's usually pretty good for shopping but I've nenver taken any of the classes. Is this the Scrapbook Expo you are considering?

That is the company's name just "scrapbook expo" and they usually do a series of shows across the US but most of the workshops are the same at every event. I know they already had events in:
costa mesa, ca
pleasanton, ca
san diego, ca
somerset, nj
orlando, fl
duluth, ga
puyalluys, wa
st. charles, il

I've been to the Scrapbook Expo (the one in October) in Ontario, CA. It's really nice, even though it's the only one I've been to (haven't been to CHA yet), it was really nice, tons of fun and great venders If you use their coupon on their website, the admission is only $6! And free parking (when I went 3 years ago). I'm hoping to make it this year with my friend and some of her scrapbooking friends
It's quite large and worth a visit! Hope this helps

I'd love to hear your thoughts, too!
There is one coming to my area in a few weeks.

Default class review

I went to the one in Costa Mesa, CA in January and a few of my friends and I took the class offered by Quick Quotes. "Windows, latches and doors..." (I think that was the name of it???) Anyhow, the class was so fast I was in a panic the whole time. It wasn't complicated stuff, but they planned on too many pages for the short amount of time. Because I whipped through it so fast to keep up, the pages were sloppy (not to mention it wasn't my taste) I just threw them in the trash when I got home. I really wish I could have viewed the projects online before I signed up. All there was, was a description of the class. Based on the way the display projects looked when I got there, I would have taken the S.E.I classes. There layouts looked were more my style. As for the shopping...it was great! The prices were competitve, but the selection was nice. I got to handle a few things I'd never seen before to decide if I wanted to buy them or not. I'm going to the one in Ontario, CA, but I will not be taking any classes this time.
