I have a question, though, for anyone that has done this at a Stamp Camp. Do you just have the dimensions and have each person cut their own? Do they bring their own trimmers? Any ideas?
hatz4, we did an 8-1/2x11 OSW several months ago at a stamp camp and the demo gave everyone a sheet of white cs with the template copied onto the back side. After stamping the sheet everyone used trimmers, exactos, etc. to cut their own sheets up.

Well its taken all day (I have a 13-month old and a little one that goes to Kindergarten at home) but I have 'recreated' 7 cards! I don't know that I have ever done that many singles in a day.
You are an inspiration Kerri. The shapes lend themselves to some really neat cards.
The snowflakes did work out wonderfully! I used a bit of vellum in the background. I just looked at your gallery and thanks for getting everything posted~ I had to smile though, because there are no comments yet on the postings since everyone has been so busy Wowza'ing you here. People that haven't been on Forum for a couple days won't be able to understand why no one has commented on the Genuis!
I have a question... you mentioned Beate had OSW patterns~ but I couldn't find them online, are they?
I'm hoping to stir up some wows tomorrow at a workshop, I'm making sliders and I'll be promoting this as a stamp camp in November! thank you,Lala
I am not sure when I downloaded Beates Pattern, she did hers up really nice with a PDF file. I can't seem to figure out how to do something similar with mine!! LOL Anyway, here is hers...

Thanks for posting this for me. Sorry for spelling your name wrong originally.
Again, thanks for the inspiration! I won't be able to thank you enough, for the amount of times I'll probably employ this. I'm hoping to get at it with Painted Poinsettias and later the Botanicals (I'll finally get to use more colours with this one haha)
thank you!
Lala
i print out Beate's osw directions you attached, but is there something missing? according to the instructions, there is a milk carton and a bookmark you are suppose to do with this, but i dont see the sizes on the actual cutting diagram...am i missing something?
Keri! OMGosh! Awesome job! Great! In the Take Ten Vol. 3, they had a person who made cards with a 8x11. Thought that was cool cause all I have ever seen osw's used for is journals and such. Now I see you did it with a 12x12! You go girl!

I have never seen a Take ten!!! I hope to one day I have not had any luck finding one here...
And as for the OSW by Beate, like I said, this is the first OSW I have ever done so I am not sure what would be missing from hers...sorry! :(
I love this technique! I saved all the samples & the template to my faves! LOL
Is this something you can do at workshops? I'm not a demo, but I am a "designer" for a local moms group that gets together to stamp every other month. I'd like to do something like this for Christmas cards, if you think it's possible for 8 non-stampers to do in a couple hours.
Thanks!!!

I just saw this today at a make it/take it stamp shop, what a great way to make an assortment pack of cards for a present for an elderly person, teacher, babysitter, new Mom, etc
Keri,
Hi! I'm kind of new around here. I've been a demo for a long time, but I'm kind of new here. I was wondering if you have gotten a formal template of this together? And, um, how do I get to your website to view all the cards? Thanks!
HI Beth
If you click on the link below it will bring you to my gallery and there is not only the cards but the template as well....and a little note, there are really 18 cards that you can make...I screwed up one piece and forgot that I had thrown it out! LOL
Inspiring! That is truly awesome! Could you please send the measurements? I would to share this with workshop guest. How fun would that be? So many cards....

Cheli if you look in my gallery you will find the measurements for this OSW.

Marjori - I did several OSW this past weekend with a group of friends. They're all stampers, but were new to the OSW concept.
Personally, I think a group of non-stampers would find it even MORE useful because they don't have to come up with the ideas for each card, and they could make a whole set...
A couple of ideas? Stamp the cards with various types of sentiments (Thanks, Happy Birthday, Congrats, Get well), then group 4-5 cards together to give as a gift to teachers, care-givers, neighors, etc.
Hi, I was wondering if there is a pattern that is printable for this. Let me know. Thanks, I appreciate it.

I have the template posted as a JPEG image in my gallery that you can download to your computer and then print out so that you can use it as a guide when cutting it all out...or if you would like you can email me and I will email you that file directly
Chantae, thanks so much, you are so kind
