Well, I don't buy single sheets. I buy in stacks. I just stack them on top of each other in my bookcase that's in my craft room. Since the stacks are usually themed, I will pull one out and look through it, I'll take the card stock, and then some patterned paper suitable for the card I'm making.

I don't scrapbook though, so more and more I'm finding that I enjoy buying the 4x6 mat stacks instead of big 12x12 stacks. Those are very handy to store in the drawers at my craft table.

I have a rolling cart that has 12 x12 hanging files for my 12 x 12 paper, and inside each one I slipped a 12 x 9 handing file that holds shorter paper and inside that is a file that holds scraps of that color.

When I want a color I just that out the file and there is that color paper in every size with the scraps. My designer paper goes in two files one for stripes and one for prints, in each file I have paper keeper (you know that clear 12 x 12 craft holder type) one for SU paper and one for anything else.

when I work at my table all my papers are at my finger tips and when I am done I roll the cart under the desk, and everything is neat.

Default 12x12x storage

I made storage cubes from the metal grid boxes from Target. You can see a picture in my gallery. I also have the paper storage cubes from acmoore and have tons more in there. I liked the metal cubes because you can fit sooo much paper in there and you can make the cubbies any size you want from
1" up and they are about 12.oo per box and you can make 2 cubes from a box.,

I use the Cropper Hopper vertical paper holders for my cardstock, and I use an awesome paper rack I purchased from a scrapbook store when it went out of business. I use that for my PP. You can see my storage here.

I have a rolling cart- I think I bought it at Target last year. I sort mine by color. New paper goes in the top and after a month or two goes into the color pool. I keep collections together in their packages so it's easier to coordinate the papers.

I have some piles on shelves and some of my better papers (SU,Papertrey and Basic Grey) in the cubes from Michaels with the three drawers. This keeps them out of the light. I label the drawers so I know what is in each one.
Works for me.

I use the trays from display dynamics. They are great because they don't bend the edges.

12x12_paper_by_stamphappy1650 by stamphappy1650 at Splitcoaststampers

I use SU! paper holders just for SU! paper because I want to keep them separate. I lay them down because not all the holders are full and I don't like my paper to lean and get a bend in it.

I started by buying one of those wire cube storage sets you can find in the Fall with all the dorm room supplies. I made those into paper sorters using zip ties, but found them to be extremely unstable. (Could be my lack of construction skills though!) I finally took those down for use elsewhere and got a bunch of free USPS priority boxes. I cut off the top and an angle down one corner and then use those. They weren't pretty at first - I was in a rush and just needed to sort the gigantic stack that was threatening to take over my desk. I cut leftover ones to make dividers.

I use this rolling cart I ordered from Paper Wishes. They carry the 12 x 12 folders too. I love the cart- it holds a lot!

I bought 3 wooden totes in a set at Michael's and the middle one is just right for 12 x 12 papers. I painted it with craft paint and it sits in the kneehole under my desk. I put the DP in a manila folder including the cardboard from the pkg. facing out to protect the paper from sunlight. Other papers go in craft keepers that also fit in the tote. Works for me.

I have been recycling my Priority boxes from the post office...I usually have a bunch on hand anyway from Ebaying a bunch of stuff...I found a really cool website called Instructables. http://www.instructables.com/id/Easy...agazine-Files/ I covered the boxes with a designer shipping tape that was shown in Creating Keepsakes magazine this month. I was tired of spending money on a bunch of plastic storage containers and this way I saved $$ so I could buy more paper to put in them. I also color organized all the paper and I think it looks really pretty...sometimes I just go and look at all the colors.

Another vote for the Cropper Hopper Vertical Storage. I buy the value pack ones that have a big one, four small, dividers, and labels. I bought four sets and all small are used. I have two big ones left and some dividers, but more paper is on the way.
I love the new rolling hanging file cart from the paperwishes link though. I notice it's also a Cropper Hopper product. They make such nice stuff. No room under my table though and I already own the other anyway. Sigh!

I bought some wire racks when an LSS went out of business. I also use some of those Sterilite 3-drawer thingies.

I just bought two 12x12 paper racks from a local craft store that has closed out their scrapbooking section.

We got big veggie trays from Costco for some event, and the big square ones are 13x13, so I put turn them upside-down, store paper in the clear lids, write contents on in Sharpie marker (SU collections especially), and then place the black plastic lid on top. I stack three or four of them. Is not a solution for someone with tons of paper, but works for me and was free.
