I've been using some of them with no problems (the pillow box, large snowflake and ones of that size). The really big dies are more tricky - you have to use 2 sets of B plates (so 4 plates altogether) to cut the paper - I haven't tried it myself yet but I've heard it's possible.

Youtube has demonstrations of sandwiches for most die cuts you can use with the Cuttlebug. I know they show how to use Quikutz and Spellbinders
die with it. Check it out. Maybe there is a video for your Big Shot dies being
used with Cuttlebug.

Amy, I would like to get the pillow box, and I already have the cbug (Thinking about transparent pillow box!) do I need anything extra? Is there a special sandwich?...will add that to my wish list if I don't need anything extra,
TIA, Gail

Have you tried using the top note die with the CB? If so how do you set it up to work? Thanks!

Great video. I do have one question. Does the red pad and extra something or others come with the die?

Wish I could give you an answer but I just don't know. I don't have the Top Note die but I have the cuttlebug and go to youtube quite often for these sandwiches on different dies. Maybe someone will answer your question soon.

This has probably been asked somewhere already but I can't find the answer so am asking here. Is the SU top note die the same size as the normal sizzix one as we don't have the SU dies over here in the UK just yet?

I asked at the NEC craft show last weekend if the sizzix one would fit in my cuttlebug and the woman on the stall said no but after what that youtube video it seemed to fit perfectly fine.

Anyone know?

Thanks Vannessa

I am not sure if this would answer your question and I did not get to look at all of this video but maybe it will help. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MRe5bS9dp68

Paula, in the last video I sent to saffivort, it says the red mat does come with the Big Shot.

No, the die comes by itself. The "extra something or others," lol, are the little plastic shims that come with the crease pad, which is what the red pad looks like. Looks like she's using the Sizzix one, since SU's is black, not red.

The crease pad isn't necessary with the Top Note die, so she must be using it more as a shim in place of a cutting pad...I haven't needed a crease pad with that die, anyway. I just put it between two B plates and off she goes, no problem!

I used the Top Note the other night and all I had to do was sandwich it between two b plates... no other plates required. It never even cut into my b plate at all. I was so surprised.

Thank you very much for this link. It looks like the bigz dies will fit quite easily into the cuttlebug so that's something else I can add to my christmas list.

Thanks again, Vannessa
