I'm still away from home and can't play, but I'm checking on you guys every day!!! May I ask, where are you getting these snap stamps everyone is using? I live in a rural area w/o any craft/stamp stores other than Wal-Mart, but I'm in a city now and have been to a Michael's and they didn't have any there -- what stores are they in or where can you order them from -- they are soooo neat from what I've been seeing -- thanks -- and happy stamping (wish I was!!!!)
I bought mine at Joann.com Often they have specials too. I like in a large city and couldn't find them in the Joann's or other stores so I ordered them and love them!

I love using tape on the part I don't want, inking up the stamp and then removing the tape before stamping. It is so much easier than markers, as long as you remember to remove the tape! :???:
I love the challenges! Here's my attempt for this one. Just couldn't find a sentiment small enough and in the style that seemed to fit, so I went digging through some older sets I haven't used in awhile, and came up with this version of "friends" from Bear Necessities.

I have a question to those who have the snap stamps. I've never heard of them and, after checking them out online, I plan to buy them. My question is what size or sizes do you have or recommend. I'd like to just get 1 set to start with and see how I like them.
I haven't been able to do a challenge for a couple of weeks. I hope to have the time to do this one later though. (Fingers crossed!) Until then, I actually do have one from my gallery. TFL Gallery at Splitcoaststampers

I love this idea, so I'm going to have to sit down and ink away tonight!

My kind of challenge Jen, I do this select stamping all the time to make up a sentiment and needed one for this image for this week's WT challenge so......
Shortened a rather wordy verse from Season's Greetings using my marker and StampaMaJig to line up the text. Popped it out with an oval punch to make a tag. CASED a layout from Renee(momof3boys), and used scraps of background paper to combine this with the Christmas Card Challenge. I made 10 this morning, since I got up way too early. Thanks for a great challenge, Jen.
Rainy mentioned this week something about making a scallopped edge using the slit punch. Today I set off to try to figure out how that would be done. This is what I came up with and whether or not it is the same why she did it...very fun!! Magical moments and a cool new technique
For LSC75, The scan is really awful. but I am too lazy go get the camera. This is for GS birthday that is coming up soon. Gallery at Splitcoaststampers

I actually made this yesterday. I must have had a an inkling cause today's challenge is exactly what I did. I love kitty
I love Kitty is the phrase DD always says...I dread the day that ball of fur gets ill!! He is about 22 pounds and 8 years old, so he's not exactly little. I made the notebook for DD and gave it to her already.
I think Easy Elegance is the easiest way for me to get out of a rut. It seems to be my "go to" set. Thanks for the fun challenge Jen - it made me use Quick and Cute! Don't flame me anyone !!
I think I need to check out those snap stamps so I always have the right words. I used part of one of my versatile verses, this is not something I normally do, so it was alot of fun. Thanks for the challenge, Jen. Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
Yay! This challenge was perfect for the thank you card that I needed to make! I cut apart one of the curvy verses and just left out the middle while using the beginng and end.
What a great challenge. I've enjoyed seeing how you all did the cards. I must go dig through some of my older sayings and see if parts can be used. I've done this with one of my stamps that has words on it, not sayings.
Well thanx for this challenge. It was my first challenge on SCS and I look forward to more. Here is the card I made. Thanx! Gallery at Splitcoaststampers

Wow! You are a genious!
I usually spend so much time carefully omitting with my spots since I don't have the markers! What a fabulous tip! Thanks for sharing!!!!
I have a question. When I was uploading my card, I didn't notice that another card tagged along--still don't know how that happened. I went in and deleted the second card because it was already in my gallery, but did that make it so that my real card is messed up? It went in for approval a few hours ago, and I know our approval people are right on awesome, so did I mess up? And how can I help fix it?
