Cute idea Jen! The only person I know having a baby doesn't want to know the gender until the bundle arrives. That makes it hard to make one ahead of time so it'll be colorful. My favorite that I've done is the one you picked for an example but here's two more without using baby stamps.
Here is my attempt! This one was hard for me for some reason-- I only know one person that is having a baby right now.... and I wasn't even sure what i would do with it when i was finished! I am a little disapointed-- because you cant see the glitter at the bottom-- but it is still kinda cute I think.. Gallery at Splitcoaststampers

ok, here's one from my gallery to give to a VERY good friend. She is pregnant and her DH just bought a cow! I know she'll get a chuckle, hope you do, too.
Not sure I understand the rule about what stamps can or can't be used....the card can or can't have a pull toy on it? Nothing specifically baby? Or it just can't be a stamp set with several stamps designed to make baby cards?
Sorry to be thick-headed! Must be pregnancy brain?
I can definitely use this for making my thank yous-Very timely for me! Thanks for the challenge!
Just don't use things specifically baby. Toys and cutesy animals make us think of babies, and they are OK. If you're not sure, use it anyways. This is for you to get inspiration with the stamps you have. Have fun stamping!
I'm just about to leave work. I'm thrilled with how many people are playing this week. I hope I have time to look at all the great cards before my scrapbooking workshop tonight. I can't wait to see what you made!
Thanks Jen for another fun challenge. I love all of the ideas I've seen here and it's great challenge idea since I don't have a many baby stamps either.
I have had the best time tonight coming up with something for this challenge. I love the Wash Day wheel but haven't purchased it as I don't need baby cards very often. I made my own version with a little stamp from A Little Love. Jen,thanks for such a great challenge. You always come up with something fun!!!
Here's my challenge card. This is the closest stamp I have to using for a baby card that is not a baby stamp set. I love this little bear. I think I'm going to do another one in pink.
Finally got to finish mine! Ran out of time this morning and barely made it to work on time ...can't wait to see the sweet and fun baby cards you've all made! Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
Thanks for a great challenge Jen!! I was so flattered when I saw my cards for this week's challenge!! I've been wanting to make a boys' version of the pink card - here it is:

my second attempt
Well I feel off tonight. :( I do not like either card I did. Maybe baby cards are not for me. Anyway here is my second. The mint green flower photographed yellow I don't know why. :( Let me know what you think.
Thank you all for looking at my go at the challenge and posting comments. It was fun to play. I got a chance to look through the thread and everyone's cards are so wonderful! What a great idea. I'm looking forward to next weeks challenge.
Here are a couple I did using the DD Airplane set, which I just "had to have" when it came out of retirement a year or two ago. I really like the images. I just wish the sponged clouds would show up better in the scans.
Here's mine.....and I sat on my hands and didn't upload on Sunday!! Woo Hoo. This was a fun challenge and I just love the sketch challenge this week. What a fun size card - I used it here.
Here is my first submission to this challenge. It was a little difficult to find something baby-ish without using a baby stamp! Hope you like it, and thanks for looking!
Sorry, I can't figure out how to get both cards on the same post (I am VERY computer challenged...just ask my demo or DH who are always helping me out!!) Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
I know I'm late again (must be my dad's genes), but since challenges don't have an expiration date . . . I'll add them now. Better late than never.
3-D Shape cards are the easiest cards to make if you don't have any baby stamps. A coloring book, a woody (paintable wooden shape), or your own drawing can provide a shape to make a card with. I have a 3-D shape Bootie card and a 3-D Baby Kimono card for you to view.
