I wanted to use the Take Three set that hasn't ever seen ink, but it didn't have a birthday sentiment......so I improvised! I made the challenge card and the bonus card.
OOOOOPS!
I read this VERY early this morning, then we have had a busy day - came back, finished cards, uploaded - then I reread the directions. BIRTHDAY CARDS. Oh well, I guess I will go back and edit the title. I did stay in the limit....
(actually, with a bit of a stretch, they could be for birthdays! LOL)
The bad news is, it has been that kind of day in lots of little things!!
Here they are anyway. Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
Here are my cards for this challenge. I did the same card in different colours - didn't read the bonus carefully enough so I didn't change the stamp for the masculine card. The same stamp works for both though.
These were fun cards to make - lots of masking, but I love to colour in and this was twice the fun
The focal image is by Sunshine Designs, one of my favourite stamp sources. The designs are so easy to use and so pretty!
Started this card this morning and just got back to it. Very busy day. Since it took so long for me to complete I lost track of the "rules" and used 3 inks!! Please don't send the stampin police after me I like the simplicity of this card. TFL
I wanted to make some cards for my downline to go with a mini notebook I made for some of them, so I decided to make one more card for this challenge in the process. I needed 4 fast cards, so I used my favorite card layout, too. Enjoy and thanks for looking. These challenges are fun and they are getting me stamping again! Gallery at Splitcoaststampers

It was so nice to be able to do a challenge. I quit my job and am not planning on working any time soon(other than the multitude of projects long neglected at home) ...so I hope to participate in more challenges. I have long loved looking at all the creativity! Gallery at Splitcoaststampers Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
oh yeah...I went thru the sketch challenges for inspiration.

I finally made one...then I realized the ticket corner punch might count as an embellishment...but it might not...so here it is: Gallery at Splitcoaststampers

These are both very simple - I didn't really even use embellishments - but I'm too sleepy to think of what else to add. Here's my girl-ish birthday and guy-ish celebration.
