This was definatley a challenge, b/c I don't have a ton of embellishments. But it was SO fun to do. I did two quick ones. Actually, one of them is going in the mail today to someone here on SCS that is a great source of embellishments for these sorts of projects. I'm continually amazed by how much work she does to provide so many of us with goodies, and still manages to stamp beautiful cards to boot!
Question about this challenge are we allowed to put any paper on top of our card??? or is it strictly the card cause I see some with one layer on top of card so I wasnt sure I did mine right??? Thanks
Boy, no layering is much harder than I thought! Here is my card for the challenge--looks a lot better IRL as the crystals are really sparkly and the pearl ex really shimmers. Thanks for looking! Gallery at Splitcoaststampers

Jen....if you are checking in......when you said no embossing I am assuming you meant for the backgrounds........when you stamp the sentiment, is it ok to use embossing powder.............I'm going to assume that is okay unless I hear from you......want to use a darker background......so need to emboss the sentiment.....

According to the directions, no more paper. I haven't looked at any of the cards, yet. (I've been at work... actually, I'm still here! LOL!) Maybe someone used it as faux ribbon???? Not sure. But your original thought about no more cardstock was right. Thanks goodness we can't be arressted! :mrgreen:

here is mine...for now! so quick and easy once you come up with an idea!! Mine was obviously heavily inspired by laurakj's sample card...

I did another one! Thanks Jen! Love this challenge! (Anyone else got snow? Can't go anywhere, so figured it's a good day to stay home and stamp! Yippee!)
Here's my card- wish the camera picked up all the sparkle of the gitter and Swarovski crystals.
I actually had a chace to play today. Thanks for the fun challenge Jen! I still feel like the card is missing something. This was hard for me to do. Finally I just had to make myself stop and call it done. :rolleyes:
