Per request, I am posting this early- I am your guest host for the Theme Challenge. Thank you Tracy for letting me play hostess this week. I have chosen to post two different themes...just in case one doesn't suit your fancyl
Theme Challenge #1 - "Before/After" - Show me a before and an after. You have all seen hundreds of dieting commercials in print and know exactly what I am looking for. Be creative with this...Some examples might be your darling little one before his/her first haircut and after (or god-forbid the first haircut done by his/her own scissors), your stamping space before scrapping a page and after (and if you are like me everything is strewn all over!), your body before kids and after, your body before Jenny Craig and after, your dog before being groomed and after...I will let you think of the some more!
Theme Challenge #2 - "What Makes You Smile" - Some of the most wonderful pages to look back upon are pages that include your favorite things. This can be your favorite things or a special person or pet in your life's favorite things. Just let us know what makes you smile!
Scan or take a photo of your work, upload with SBTC24 in the keywords, place them in the 12x12 or 8 1/2x11 Scrapbook Page Categories. Then come back and post it here for us all to see.
Remember there are NO UPLOADS on Sundays.

I'm looking forward to working on this theme challenge. I'm notsure about the before and after, but the "What Makes Me Smile" - I'll have a hard time deciding what to do the page on.
Erica - what fun themes - I love them - thanks for hostessing! I probably won't be able to play this week, but I will be stalking you gals to see what fabulous pages you turn out!
Sounds like fun... Hey, I could do a page on losing weight.... and titling it "The Big Yo Yo" Before, After, Before, After.... on second thought, that would be too depressing!! LOL!
I'm getting seriously hooked on these challenges! Thanks for the idea!

OH MY GAWD!!! (said like Chandler's girlfriend Janice, on Friends)!!! I can't believe I actually got a challenge done!!! It's been months since I actually got one done!!! WOOHOO!!!
I couldn't pass up doing this "before & after" theme!!;) DH is not happy about it...I hope he doesn't get me back, but this really IS funny!! I'll get to another one for the "What makes me smile" theme!! Thanks so much!!
BK: Before Kids (PS: BK is also my initials so I added my names in small print in the title)
Journalling:
People so often make the comment I dont remember what life was like Before Kids. I do. Ill be honest, there are times when I am sad because I dont have that BK life anymore I loved exploring the Island on my motorbike, which we painted bright Orange and named Cheeto (in honour of my favourite snack.) I felt great wearing clothes a few sizes smaller... I worked so hard to get there. Ahhh BK.
This summer (2006) we sold my motorbike and bought a tent trailer. I cried when I heard the rumbly purr of my Beemer bike drive away for the last time. But I wouldnt trade my life for anything. Im a wife and a mom. We will create new family memories with our tent trailer and, really, does it matter what size I am?? One day those other things will come back. For now though, Im going to eat my Cheetos in my tent trailer and enjoy my kids! Lifes too short to dwell in the past.
