Arrow SBTC16

For the next couple of weeks I'm going to be posting only 1 theme challenge. One because VSBN is coming and I don't want anyone to go into scrapbook overload and two to give everyone the chance to do both theme and sketch challenges with less pressure.

Theme Challenge-
Spring is in the Air- OK, let's have fun with Spring pages.
They do not have to be related to any specific holiday, just spring time pictures. It can be flowers, rain, birds, egg hunt, family get togethers or the kids playing outside ANYTHING Spring related. Here's the CHALLENGE, you HAVE to use PASTEL colors ONLY!!! Dont forget to journal on your page.

BONUS (optional)-Use some kind of stitching on your page. It can be real stitching, faux, stamped or anything else but it has to look like stitching.

Scan or take a photo of your work, upload with SBTC16 (no spaces) in the keywords, and post it here for us all to see.

*Tip: If you like you can type what your journaling says in the notes section of your upload in your gallery.

Remember there are NO UPLOADS on Sundays, as the wonderful ladies that approve them need a day off too!

***VERY IMPORTANT NOTE***
When UPLOADING your pages PLEASE place them in 12 X 12 or 8-1/2 X 11 Scrapbook Pages category!! Thanks sooo much!

GET SCRAPPIN!!!

oh this sounds fun. I've been meaning to take out my sewing machine. or maybe I'll do the faux stitching. I'm just hoping for some free time this week.

Good challenge. I can do pastel and I just got the mat pack and have been wanting to try it with faux stitching.

Oh, great challenge! I'm gonna have a hard time with the pastel thing....I'm just not crazy about pastel colors! I don't even like the word "pastel"....but that's beside the point.
Anyway, I've been trying to think outside of my normal comfort zone lately when I'm scrappin.....so I suppose that means using pastels too! =)

Thanks for the challenge!

I'm done! The pages turned out better than I thought...at first, I was not pleased, but I kept fiddling until I was satisfied:

Here's mine!

I know I am a little late, but the forum has been DOWN for upgrades or something. DH told me to keep checking back and finally it worked.

Now to try to get my sketch challenge up!
