OK, ladies Pre-VSBN is tomorrow so I will only be posting 1 theme challenge. Have fun with the challenge and have fun with us tomorrow, I hope you all can join us!
Theme Challenge- BFF- We all know what that stands for right??? Best Friends Forever! It�s time we recognize and appreciate or BF�s in a AWESOME and FANTABULOUS layout. It can be any pictures from any point of your friendship. Now for the challenge, YOU HAVE to use something from the NEW and AWESOME Basic Grey line. Don�t forget to journal on your page.
Scan or take a photo of your work, upload with SBTC15 (no spaces) in the keywords, and post it here for us all to see.
*Tip: If you like you can type what your journaling says in the notes section of your upload in your gallery.
Remember there are NO UPLOADS on Sundays, as the wonderful ladies that approve them need a day off too!
***VERY IMPORTANT NOTE*** When UPLOADING your pages PLEASE scroll thru the list of categories and place them in 12 X 12 or 8-1/2 X 11 Scrapbook Pages!! The mods are constantly moving uploads to the appropriate category, and if we all place them in the right place it would save them a lot of time. (((hugs))) Thanks sooo much!
What a great theme! So glad I bought some Basic Grey, now to see how the pictures look with the paper I got.
Glad you are only doing one challenge, we have so much going on, but I feel I have to do them all, like it's homework or something.
I will have to pass on this theme challenge. Not because I don't have any photos but I swore I would not buy anything more scrapbooking related this month and I don't own anything basic grey.

I didn't catch the basic gray part the first time I read the theme. Well, I will be by the GOOD scrapbook store in the morning. Wonder what time they open.. I might do the scrapbook garage sale, then walmart then the SB store on the way home....guess no ice cream from walmart though. :rolleyes:
I would think you can use anything, as long as it is by Basic Grey. I don't think Lisa would narrow it down to just one line of Basic Grey......am I right Lisa???
you can use anything from their "new" lines which are:
Oh Baby Girl
Oh Baby Boy
Color Me Silly
Urban Couture
Hang Ten
it can be the paper, ribbon Anything from any of those lines. Have fun, I am!!!
AAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!! Don't have Basic Grey Paper. Love it and was going to buy it but didn't. The local stores around here don't carry it. I knew I should have gone to the scrapbook store when I was in the city. Actually that was the reason I avoided it because I know I'd find too many things to buy. I'm not sure they carry it either but chances are better than locally. If I have time to do the challenge, I'd do it anyway and try the shabby shic look. If not I'll catch up once I get the paper. I can already see the page now. Why didn't I look here yesterday when it was my day to scrap?

Hey there gals!! I was able to do the Theme Challenge today of MY best friend forever - my daughter, Emileigh!! I posted it a while ago, but it isn't approved yet...and I just can't wait any longer....yawn....I gots ta go ta bed!!! Hope you like it!!

After checking what paper I had against the "new line" list it isn't so new. DH said he needed to go out and run an errand in the same direction of the SBS so I hope they carry one of those lines. The pictures aren't great, but I planned to scrap them sometime anyway. Thanks for the challenge!
This turned out to be quite an expedition to find paper. I went back to the SBS I'd gotten the last purchase from only two weeks ago and it was an empty store with a sign "area for lease"!! Luckily I'd looked on line before I left home and wrote down a couple of other places in case this SBS didn't have the newest line, found a store that had two from the list, wasn't my first choice, but actually since these pictures are from November the colors worked better than I thought they might.
I don't have any of these lines... :( so I guess I won't do this one. I have a bunch of other Basic Grey and I'm not sure I feel up to going out shopping for more today.
was going to do it about my husband, but he was A big jerk to me tonight so doing a loving spread on him makes me sick to my stomach. Had a nice layout planned to :(n
