IS there a NEW BADGE for being chosen at the END OF THE YEAR FAVORITE???
No, there are no special "Best of 2012" badges. I suggested them back in November, since our year-end threads typically have hundreds of cards mentioned, but the idea didn't go any further.
Thanks for creating this badge and code. When I went to ad the widget to my blog, I thought it would be nice to add the picture of the card. I've attached a quick little tutorial on how to add a photo and link to my card with the Favorites Badge. The tutorial was written with Pages for Mac. Let me know if you need help - send me a PM.
looks nice Allie! I clicked over to your blog. I like to do little extras like this too. I don't see a link to your tutorial... I usually just act like I'm going to write a new post... load the picture and text, then change it to HTML code and copy and paste it into a widget.

Thanks Lynn! I usually make the picture linky too... highlight it... click the link option... add the url and check the box so it will open in a new window too.

I must admit, I missed spotting these earlier! Also a big thankyou to all those that have favorited my cards for either Weekly or CAS, I am wearing mine proudly...finally!
I've never been on this thread before, but THANKS to Lydia, Darlene, and everyone for providing these badges. I've recently started a blog and felt a little uncomfortable with putting a tab on my blog with awards and honors (thought it might be construed as bragging), but I will add them with pride and thankfulness! I am so honored and humbled when one of my creations has been FAV'd like this…so big hugs to all! Don't we all just LOVE SCS!!! Hugs, Lydia and team, for always being there for us!!
I found this back in 2012, and I proudly posted in to the side-bar of my blog for my first card chosen July 15, 2012. My blog is on Blogspot, and I have since learned I can edit it to add a date for each week I have been chosen as a Favorite of the Week. I want to throw in my belated THANKS to Lydia, Darlene, and everyone for providing these badges...I can't even remember how I found this Thread, unless the person who chose me gave me that information, because I still have a difficult time navigating to find things. Today, I found this Thread by doing a Google search for Splitcoaststamper Blog badges and it came up with the URL link to this thread. I had tried searching through the Splitcoaststamper Search and got nowhere. So if anyone can tell me how to find a Thread for a specific thing, please let me know. I was searching for the Favorites of the Week thread for week ending December 25, 2016.

Thirdly...boy I am full of comments and questions! I read all the posts in this Thread and there was talk of getting a Best of 2016 Favorites (or whatever year), but I do not see that it was ever posted nor were any other comments made. Does anyone know if a badge has been created or will be? I love my Favorites badge and would really like a "Best of 2016 Favorites" badge as I have just been notified that my card was one of those selected.

These were created by Lydia (Understandblue), and she deserves a big Thank You for her help. There are two versions.
The two attached text files have the code for these badges. You can copy and paste it for your blog's sidebar.
The original idea came from Darlene_Lyons. She asked ChaosMom whether SCS had anything like this available. ChaosMom recognized it as a great idea, and she passed it along to me. I contacted Lydia, and she designed the images and wrote the code for us. How cool is that?
