Clean and Simple (CAS) Favorites for Week Ending SATURDAY, December 15, 2018
Hi, all --
Hoping you are close to having done what you need to do for Christmas (if you celebrate it) and can sit back and enjoy the rest of the holiday season.
I also hope you had some time to spend in the Gallery this week so that you can play along with us by sharing some of the CAS favorites you uncovered. Here are some of mine to get things started:
Joyful Star by susanbri I loved the texture and dimension Susan used for card. The bold red star really shines.
Christmas Wishes by beesmom Maura kicked up this classic CAS design using vibrant alcohol inks, textured embossing folders and a gold sentiment.
Ready for the Ride Home by Benzi Brenda truly captured the feeling of driving through the snow on a dark holiday night - all in an easy-to-mail, one layer card.
Sending Hugs by Peppermintpatty's Karin's ombre blue heart, combined with her use of dies created a truly beautiful, totally classy card.
Chlorophyll Sympathy Card by UnderstandBlue Nature always seems calming and appropriate for sympathy cards and Lydia's delicate leaf card is no exception. Perfectly paired with large, beautiful sentiment.
Oxide Snowflakes by Ellibelle Love how the distress oxide square provides depth of color, softness and visual interest to compliment the other elements on this CAS collage card.
I hope you enjoy checking out each of these cards and leaving some love for the artists. Now it's your turn - tell us what CAS faves you found this week. If you have additional (non-CAS) faves, please post them on this week's Favorites Thread instead.
P.S. Just a reminder that our CAS Favorites of 2018 thread will go live on New Year's Day. Time to start looking at your faves folder to decide which will make your cut as your favorites for the year.

This thread is open to everyone and is a great way to recognize the work of SCS's many talented CAS artists.
There are really only two "rules" here on the thread:
The Gallery posts you link to should be in the CAS style...
-------------------------------- And what does it mean to be Clean and Simple?
It's all about the design.
* Uncluttered
* lots of white or open space
* one main focal point --------------------------------
...and they should be from the past week.
Did you find your way to this thread because someone listed one of YOUR creations as a favorite? In addition to saying thank you, we encourage you to pay that smile you're probably wearing right now forward by sharing a few of the cards/projects YOU favorite-ed this week.
If this is your first time being mentioned in this thread or you have a new blog we have blog badges found here in this post.
Need help linking your Favorites? Follow these steps:
1. Load this week's Favorites thread in your first browser tab. Scroll down and click the Go Advanced button.
2. Open a second tab (or a separate window). Go to the Gallery and click on "My Favorites."
3. Click on a card you have saved. At the top, highlight the web address. Hit Ctrl+C to copy.
4. Switch back to the first tab. Type the cardmaker's SCS name, add a couple of spaces and hit Ctrl+V to paste your link there. Hit Enter twice to add a blank line.
5. Repeat as many times as needed for all your links.
6. Click the Preview Post button and check that your links work. Then click the Submit Reply button.
