Welcome to the first CAS Favorites thread of 2015! I'm the lucky lady who gets to kick things off.
Last January, I challenged you to join me in seeking out/recognizing "new-to-me" stampers within your favorites posts. I was thrilled that so many of you took me up on that challenge and kept it going throughout the year.
This year, I have a new challenge for myself and for you. I'm going to try to leave some love in the galleries of at least 3 of the people others have listed in their weekly favorites list. As has been pointed out before (by Diane?) - just because a card is listed here as someone's favorite, doesn't mean that lots of people took the time to leave comments on the card. I will try to seek out a few each week that could use a little extra love. Hope you'll join me, because don't we all feel great when someone leaves a comment on our card posts?
Here are some of the fabulous CAS creations I found in the gallery this week:
SC521 Favorites of 2014 by Biggan I'm a sucker for poppies and these by Birgit couldn't be any prettier. Perfectly balanced layout, great coloring and added interest with the cutout.
Shimmery Butterfly by Loll Thompson Love how Loll kept the colors soft and the layout simple to allow the beauty of the die cut butterfly shine.
CC511 Leaf Clusters by beesmom Maura's image and colors work perfectly for this peaceful sympathy card.
Inspired by Loll and Susan by nancy littrell Gorgeous, rich colors and a simple sentiment make this one a creative home run.
OLS12 Attractive Opposites by Ardyth Using one of my fave color combos, this card definitely caught my eye. But then when I realized how many "opposites" this little card contained, I really had to favorite it.
FS413 BRR....it's cold outside by lisa lara Lisa's dapper little penguin looks like he wants to be hugged as much as I want to hug him! Too cute!
So now it's your turn -- what caught your fancy this week?
Did you find your way to this thread because someone listed one of YOUR creations as a favorite? In addition to saying thank you, we encourage you to pay that smile you're probably wearing right now forward by sharing a few of the cards/projects YOU favorited this week.
Need help linking your Favorites? Follow these easy steps:
1. Load this week's Favorites thread in your first browser tab. Scroll down and click the Go Advanced button.
2. Open a second tab (or a separate window). Go to the Gallery and click on "My Favorites."
3. Click on a card you have saved. At the top, highlight the web address. Hit Ctrl+C to copy.
4. Switch back to the first tab and hit Ctrl+V to paste your link there. Hit Enter twice to add a blank line. Repeat as many times as needed for all your links.
5. Click the Preview Post button and check that your links work. Then click the Submit Reply button.
Debbie, I like your idea of trying to add more comments to cards others list on this thread. I certainly know how much I enjoy getting comments! So will start with this thread! I hope we all keep listing some "new to us" stampers too as I like the idea of recognizing newer SCS members.

If one of the mods reads this...could you sticky this thread, as well as the regular faves best of thread...leaving the CAS best of thread also as a sticky?
