CAS (Clean and Simple) Favorites for Week Ending 9/3/17
They say meteorological Fall starts September 1st, and by the feel of the cool nip in the air this morning (40 degrees when I woke up), I'd say that, yes, Mother Nature is more ready to say goodbye to summer than I am. Then again, Fall IS such a beautiful time of year with the vibrant colors and the flavors of pumpkins and apples everywhere. So, it's all good.
It's only been a few weeks that I've been away, but it feels like so much longer. I have to say, it was nice to get some time in the Gallery this week as things start to get back to normal.
Here are some of the CAS cards that caught my eye this week as they made their way into my favorites folder.
Masking-Thinking of You - MR by StitchesandSmudges*** NEW-TO-ME-STAMPER *** I love Melanie's chosen colors and how crisp the edge of her sponged circle is - no need to die cut when your sponging is so well done.
FS551 honoring Calex by nancy littrell I love how Nancy used layers and texture with her white space, allowing her gorgeous blue sky and silhouetted conifers shine.
Peaceful Christmas by Loll Thompson Loll posted so many beauties this week, but this one really caught my eye. Love how bold the white design looks when paired with her vibrant blues and greens.
Silver Anniversary by sistersandie Sandie has achieved the perfect balance between her whitespace and her silver glitter elements on this "love"-ly card.
Die-cut Summer Beach Chairs by jeanmanis Jean had me at "adirondack chair." But what sent her card racing into my favorites folder was the scoring on the white panel behind the chairs - a perfect detail to go with that beachy feel.
Card from Colouring Page 2 by Stamping Kitty I'm all about the vibrant this week - and this beauty does not disappoint. LOVE the bold coloring book look image with its vibrant colors and the interesting die cut border.
So those are mine. Now it's YOUR turn. Share with us those CAS beauties that made their home in your favorites folder this week.
Did you find your way to this thread because someone listed one of YOUR creations as a favorite? In addition to saying thank you, we encourage you to pay that smile you're probably wearing right now forward by sharing a few of the cards/projects YOU favorited this week.

Just came home from a weekend cruise to happy mail from Karen. Thanks so much for letting me know that Susan liked my card this week. Now if Irma leaves us alone this week, I can maybe get back to looking at all the wonderful cards in the gallery.
What a pleasant surprise! Thank you Debbie for selecting my card as one of your CAS favorites this week. I also appreciate Karen's note letting me know about it. Is there a badge I can add to blog for this special occasion?
