CAS (Clean and Simple) Favorites for Week Ending 7/31/16
I don't know about you, but I think it is crazy that a month that sports 5 Sundays can still feel like it went by in the blink of an eye. How does that happen?
Are you playing the DTGD challenges this week? Day 1 and I'm already loving all the great challenge cards posted in the Gallery. If you aren't yet a fan club member, well, what are you waiting for? Join now and get in on the fun.
Here are some of the CAS cards in the Gallery that really caught my eye as they jumped into my Favorites folder.
Hello Sunshine by Christy S. I liked the big hello paired with the explosion of blooms. By keeping the colors soft, this card maintained that great CAS feel.
You're a Star by Sarah J. Moerman*** NEW-TO-ME-STAMPER *** Sarah's layout was the first thing to catch my eye, but the fun way she used stars kept me looking.
CAS387 Christmas Rose vky by Vickie Y I have always loved the SU Christmas rose image but Vickie really kicked it up a notch with her colored pencil on kraft take. Just beautiful!
Snowflakes and Brushos by Loll Thompson
(Can you tell it's been hot and humid all week? I really seem to have faved a lot of cold weather kind of cards...LOL!) Loll's color combo is always a winner - for this card, I particularly like the snowy EF paired with the pretty snowflake tag.
Whew! So those are mine. A fairly long list this week, but I just KNOW I didn't catch them all. So tell me, what caught YOUR eye in the Gallery this week?
Did you find your way to this thread because someone listed one of YOUR creations as a favorite? In addition to saying thank you, we encourage you to pay that smile you're probably wearing right now forward by sharing a few of the cards/projects YOU favorited this week.
Need help linking your Favorites? Follow these easy steps:
1. Load this week's Favorites thread in your first browser tab. Scroll down and click the Go Advanced button.
2. Open a second tab (or a separate window). Go to the Gallery and click on "My Favorites."
3. Click on a card you have saved. At the top, highlight the web address. Hit Ctrl+C to copy.
4. Switch back to the first tab and hit Ctrl+V to paste your link there. Hit Enter twice to add a blank line. Repeat as many times as needed for all your links.
5. Click the Preview Post button and check that your links work. Then click the Submit Reply button.
Thank you so much Debbie for including my Christmas card in your list of favorites this week! I am honored. Thank you Karen for letting me know. I appreciate you!

Thank you thank you thank you Debbie for including my Christmas Rose and my My Friend cards in your CAS favorites! I truly appreciate your kind comments! And, thank you Karen for the notification; it is very much appreciated.
Thank you Debbie for starting the thread, thank you Karen for sending all the happy mail. Yesterday got away from me very busy repaying some of the favors I owe my sister and her family for helping me during my move and I did not have much time to list my favorites.
Sorry to be so late posting mine. I had 12 friends for afternoon tea in the garden yesterday so was too tired last night to post my favs - in fact, I started doing them and fell asleep at the computer!
I had some of the ones Debbie and Lisa listed but left them off to keep my list more manageable as there were so many fabulous cards last week, especially for the CAS Christmas in July challenge.
Susan, thank you for the mention!!
Karen, thank you for the notice!
I agonize over CAS cards. I still had fun with these ones, but they took three times the planning/designing that the shabby ones do - go figure LOL
Thank you, Susan, for listing my card among your favorites. Always a thrill to be on this thread....I appreciate your kindness. Thank you, Karen, with all your computer problems, still getting out all these notifications. Hugs, Sallie
Thank you Susan, for picking my Noel card as one of your fav's this week and to Karen for the notification (from your previous comments I'm guessing you did those notifications on Sunday - didn't show up to my mailbox til mid morn Mon!)
This honor is a great pick-me-up on a blah Monday! Again, Thank you SO much!

I have not favorited any beauties this week lots of wonderful creations though ..have a super day all...:0)

Thanks, Susan and Lisa for joining the party this week - I was beginning to think I forgot deodorant or something. LOL!
Susan (susanbri) - thanks so much for the mentions - 2 of them - WOW! Great way to start off Monday after a rather trying Sunday in the stamp room. Thanks, too, to Karen for persevering, even when your linking tool is on the fritz. You are the best!!
Thank you, Susan, for listing my Christmas Sparkle in your favorites this week. It is an honor! And thank you, Karen, for the happy mail - in the face of computer issues even!
Thanks to Susan for choosing my Christmas card to be on your list this week! I had so much fun making that card and it is nice to see that someone else likes it too!
Lisa - thanks for the mention of my Naked Stamping card! Karen, thanks for the notification! Hugz

ggrrrrrr....my linking tools are still not working.
If anyone can help me figure out how to fix that, please let me know. When I do notifications I click on the POST REPLY button which is like the GO ADVANCED button here....
I haven't changed anything either.
Thanks, Maura! Always a thrill and so appreciated to get mentioned, but to be mentioned on a week with shortened Gallery time - I am feeling quite special at the moment.
Thanks, Karen, for all you do, especially this week with your dysfunctional linking tool.
I want to thank Lisa for selecting my gentle butterfly card as a favorites card last week - I am just finding out this happy news (on my birthday- yay!). I am so excited and so grateful too! And thank you to Karen for letting me know this happy news (despite technical issues you persisted and it is appreciated!). Yay! ~Karen M.
