Challenge Title: The Nightmare Before Christmas Hostess: pattyb Keyword: FF17pattyb Date: 10.20.2017
Follow the misadventures of Jack Skellington, Halloweentown's beloved pumpkin king, who has become bored with the same annual routine of frightening people in the "real world." When Jack accidentally stumbles on Christmastown, all bright colors and warm spirits, he gets a new lease on life -- he plots to bring Christmas under his control by kidnapping Santa Claus and taking over the role. But Jack soon discovers even the best-laid plans of mice and skeleton men can go seriously awry.

Had fun using an embossed and inked pumpkin harvest background, layering some curvy label style panels on top (burnt orange, white, purple) and adding some fussy cut Halloween images. Orange image under sentiment is an orange chocolate bar wrapper, and I added a orange and black twine bow. Sponged my large dc smoky moon, and finished with my sentiment, using a printed font resembling Nightmare Before Christmas. Here's FF17pattyb scary

I loved this challenge. I used peach for the skin and the purple gray and black are in the background and coloring the witch. You can see my card HERE.
this was a definite color combo I never in a million years would have thought of. ( can you believe I do not own peach ink?) who knew? hahaha. so, I had to go with paper so.. its just a simple one, thanks Patty.
Not Halloween or Christmas related, but still feel this hits the mark. Hit all the colors listed as well as adding purple like the movie poster pic and a moon. I haven't seen these movies, but when I saw this poster I thought of my Wave stamp as the mountain he is standing on is similar, so there was my inspiration. Will add this to Card Drive #4.
I have never seen this movie- I spent a bit of time trying to decide how to tackle the challenge. I finally decided to CASE the inspiration pic. I have a SIL that is so totally into Halloween, I will send it to her!
