Challenge Title: To the Wallflowers Hostess: dini (Dina K) Keyword: FF17diniB Date: Saturday, October 21
I can't believe this is the last day of challenges for our 2nd annual Falliday Fest! We hope you've had fun, and had a chance to give a few cards and stash a few too! Remember you have until the 31st to finish up and push for Yeti status... and then... prizes!
An inevitable part of the holiday season is a list of holiday parties. I'll be honest - I'm happy to be on the planning end of a party - I love cooking and baking, and I love lists and decorations and details... but when the party time comes, you'll find me in a corner, or in the kitchen, or talking to the dog, or not at all. If you're like me, we might find each other and either have a deep conversation or analyze what's going on around us, but we're certainly not going to be the life of the party - in fact, my ability to communicate drops significantly after 8:00.
So in honor of introverts and wallflowers, my challenge to you is to stamp the focal image of your card off a corner or side of the panel. Make sure it's hanging off the edge somewhere! For a bonus element, include a flower on your card (it can be a stamp or embellishment). VIEW THE GALLERY FOR THIS CHALLENGE HERE

Sitting alone in my house is one of my favorite things! To be honest, just being more active on SCS is a S-T-R-E-T-C-H for me! So many people, and comments, and likes, oh my!
I think upon re-reading the challenge, I may have blown it! I have the background stamps off the page and the sentiment, but not sure they qualify as the "focal image" eeek
What a great challenge Dini! I used a sizzix embossing folder for my large rose, rubbed with berry ink. Added a panel, embossing the gold background with large dots (mostly hidden) and adding a washi tape dotted border. Finished with a double ribbon/tie horizontal border. Here's FF17diniB thanks a melon

Dina, what a great challenge for us today. Thanks for sharing a little about yourself. My daughter is an introvert and I am the opposite, so I try to have an understanding and sensitivity to those who don't want to be noticed at a party. I'll be back later with my card.
Dina, I feel the same way about parties that you do!
I saw a video from Jennifer McGuire earlier this week about edge stamping to get two cards at once, so used that technique for these two cards FF17diniB by scrappyb at Splitcoaststampers
What a great challenge! I love the look of the image going off the edge of the card.I watched Kelly L.'s video on SSS the other day and fell in love with her idea to add poinsettias to a bouquet stamp! Here is my off the edge card:
Just the tip of this flower is off the page, but I loved this design element challenge, Dina. I am at the other end of the party spectrum, and flit around every 6 minutes or less to check out all the conversations.

Dina...You mean youve been sitting in the other corner all those years??? I so appreciate this challenge..I love the idea and I love the recognitiion for introverts everywhere! I think were misunderstood...I had some coworkers tell me that when they first knew me they thought I was stuck up....until they figured out I was shy...Anyway...heres my card...
