I've done this technique with rubber bands before, but this is the first time with yarn. This "Blizzard" challenge just had to be a winter sort of scene. I loved blizzards like this when I was growing up in eastern Montana!

I didn't have yarn, so I used some thin baker's twine and wrapped it diagonally around a block.

Hi!
I finally got this technique done! I think if I did it again, I would find some of the yard you suggested- eyelash I think, and add a little more paint- maybe even iridescent medium to it : ) But, I had a blast.
Here is my card.
I used some dies I did not even know I had : ) LOL
