Thanks for the welcome! Here are my posts. I am doing them on a 4 1/4 by 5 1/2 sheets which I hope to eventually make into a mini album. Maybe or maybe not soon. I did January, but am a day late adding, but I am on the nose for February.
oops, sorry about uploading on Sundays. I forgot that is a rule, and I am snowed in so was trying to be productive. Was unable to go to church so worked on this project instead.
I don't think there is a "no Sunday" uploading rule, unless I missed it. I went back to first post and didn't see it there. I stayed home this morning too. Snow is coming, but I didn't sleep well last night and woke up with terrible headache.
Welcome Cynthia! So glad you have joined us. I am sorry I am late welcoming you...I have been recovering from surgery. I look forward to seeing how you creatively express your Scripture verses. :-) LM
Hope your recovery is going well. Prayers and thoughts and hugs.

Yes Kathy, the moderators prefer that we not upload on Sundays for cards, if we are not fan club members. The cards of fan club members automatically go through right away, but non members cards need to be approved by moderators before the photos of the cards show. It's just a courtesy, so that they won't have to work so hard on Sundays. After all, they are volunteers. It's not always mentioned on every forum and challenge, but it is implied.

But I assumed Celinda is a fan club member since she uploaded Sunday. So no moderators would be needed for that if I understand it. I thought the non fan club members cards uploaded sundays sat in a que for Monday approvals.
Jennipher...Your card is beautiful and the encouraging verse is perfect after your tough month. I am glad that things are going better for you now. :-) LM

I work in Awana and the leaders memorize the verses, too. It would be fun to do an album with all the verses I've memorized the last couple of years. Not sure I'll get it done though.
Welcome ssgowans! I am so glad you are going to join us. You can read Post#1 for all the info. Making an album of your Awana Verses is such an awesome idea! I look forward to seeing your monthly creations. :-) LM
Welcome ssgowans! I also am an AWANA leader...........I have the little cubbies, and this year there are only 4 of them. I was always a T&T leader, but a few years ago, there was a need for a cubbies leader. I didn't feel to excited about it, as we had 17 kids for 3 leaders. Quite a challenge. However, over the past two years I grown to love teaching the 4 and 5 year olds. This year we have only 4 kids, and they are delightful.

I have been in T&T for 2 years. We have several kids in T&T, but I personally, have 3 that are consistant. The ones I have are in the 5th grade & I struggle to get them to really apply themselves. Some weeks are better than others.
Ok, I am a bit behind this year...here is a card using a verse John 14:6- I already knew this verse so I will try to make another card soon with one that I had not already memorized :-)
I've somehow lost track of what month I'm for creating my Scripture cards. At any rate, I made this one in March but just got it uploaded today. It was created for my brother who has just recently had surgery to remove a third of his lung due to lung cancer. I used a lot white on it as that is the color of the awareness ribbon for lung cancer.
Jennipher...So good to see you here again. Your card is stunning. LM :-)

This is the first time I have uploaded for this challenge. My card front is digitally designed using the Panstoria Artisan software and related digital packages. I can create a series of postcard-sized card fronts, useful for many purposes (e.g., card fronts, messages, actual postcards to be mailed, book markers, calendar page pics). As I indicated in my description, this one had a friend in mind as she awaits the sale of her home and a new apartment lifestyle at age 76! My choice was also a reminder of the SU butterflies and ferns stamp set.
I hope you enjoy the preliminary product. Diane
Julie and I must be on the same thought process this week - I selected the same verse for my digitally-designed card front! This uses one of my original photographs taken here in Central PA. Diane
Here is another card (I should be caught up to May now) :-) We were reviewing this verse this year in our Awana club along with the Ten Commandments :-)
