I have had a great time hosting the Divine Design Bible Verse Challenge in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 & 2014. I have had requests to continue this for 2014, and I am more than happy to do so.
This is an opportunity for you to memorize ** Scripture each month. And to help you do so, you make any kind of paper project, with the Scripture as the focus, such as: Album pages, bookmarks, cards, calendar pages, and anything else that works for you.
I have been making a 6x6 Album for each year, with a month for each page. Then I have can keep going through them to refresh my memory on the Scriptures I have memorized, so as to keep them in my mind. I put each current month in a stand where I can see it often, then add it to my album each month.
There are a lot of great scripture stamps out there, but if you don't have any, don't let that stop you. You can print scriptures from your computer! This challenge is a great tool to help you with memorizing & meditating on God's Word. You can join anytime and I hope you will. The guidelines are simple:
1. Must have a Bible verse printed, stamped, hand-written or computer generated on your project.
2. Upload a picture of your project to the Gallery with the scripture reference as your project title (i.e. BVC15 - John 1:14)
3. Be sure to then post in this thread what Month you have uploaded and provide a link to your project in this thread. That way we can see what each other has done, and encourage one another with comments in the Gallery. You might even be inspired to use one of the Scriptures you see as a future choice for yourself.
4. Be sure to put BVC15 as a Keyword when you Upload. This is the Bible Verse Challenge keyword: BVC15 (same keyword all year). While I do appreciate all kinds of inspirational messages, poems and quotes, for the purpose of this challenge, please respect the scripture reference guideline. Do not use this keyword if you have not used a Biblical scripture on your project.
5. No vendor restrictions.
6. The goal will be to post one project for each month of 2015. Try to post it no later than the end of each month (but you can still post later than that, too).
I look forward to seeing all the great projects in the BVC16 gallery! Please feel free to PM me if you you have any questions!
I will post a link to the BVC15 Gallery once we have something in there..
I pray this blesses each of you, as it does me, each month.
Blessings,
LM
** The intent of the the challenge is to combine our love of scripture and our love of stamping. The goal is also to work on memorizing. I understand that not all are able to memorize, and I would never tell anyone that they cannot participate if they cannot get their posted verses memorized.
I think I would love to be a part of this challenge for the year. Years ago I did something similar and made two little ringer books that I cherish. I would love to do this for some of my favorite scriptures. These are the kinds of new year resolutions I like to make.

This will be my third year joining and I have yet to upload a card. *sigh* Has been a busy few years working full time and getting our daughters moved out and settled . Our youngest starting college this fall across state, .hoping this year will provide more time. Looking forward to seeing everyone's cards!
Welcome back, Martha! Remember, if you miss a month, it is more than OK to just make one for the next month. Looking forward to seeing your Scripture-inspired creations. You will definitely have more time to stamp with your empty nest. :-) LM

I would love to give this a try this year. I have tried in the past but have just been too busy with other commitments. I have plenty of Scripture stamps from Verve and Our Daily Bread Designs so there is no excuse. Now, to decide what type of project I'd like to make.
Hi Jennipher...I am so excited that you are joining us again. I look forward to seeing your projects showcasing your Scripture Verses. :-) LM

I couldn't help it! I found another good verse on giving thanks so I created. Now I will take a break as I memorize these. My theme seems to be "thanks" so I'm going to continue with it as I look for verses. I found all these verses at WordArtWednesday, but I may have to create some of my own now.
I would like to try this challenge please. I love to read the Bible, but I'm not so good at memorizing. I'm going to make bookmarks to put in my planner, so I will see it everyday. Hopefully, that will help! At the end of each month, I'll put them in a 6x6 pocket page with my OLW for 2015. 4th100in100.002-003.OLW by tishahendricks - Cards and Paper Crafts at Splitcoaststampers
Here is my January card using a retired set from 2005 that had never seen ink yet- I am trying to use some of my retired sets and make sure they see some "love" :-)
I loved doing these challenges back in 2008. I lived overseas for 5 years and now I am getting back into some stamping. Am looking forward to the Bible Verse Challenge this year. Will have my card for January soon.
