My friend is memorizing all of Psalm 145. It is a wonderful Psalm. I have started with just two verses. I had started a little journal, but the papers were too thin for mixed media, so I got a larger mixed media book. This piece is my first entry in the 9 x 12 inch journal. We are already more than half way through April. I hope to see more of you soon post your April Scripture projects. I have finished mine and plan to upload my picture in the next couple of days. Blessings, LM :-)
Hi! I had't realized it had been so long. Some of you may know, but my DM went to be with the Lord March 19th. And I was busy with her care until then. Can't believe April is almost gone! I did March's card in February, so I need to work on April. I still would like to make a Bible verse journal. Just am still trying to figure out how to do it. See you later.
Sharon, I am making mine do double duty.......mixed media and Bible verses! I bought the mixed media book with a 50% off coupon (other wise they are pretty expensive).

There is such a thing as a mixed media book? I was just going to use a notebook and make it thicker with the gesso. I need some one yo come tell me what to do!,,
Sharon, that's how I started, with a different book, but then decided I did not want to use gesso on all my projects, so I bought the mixed media book, with much thicker paper. I got mine at Michaels. Also, this book is 9 X 12, so gives me room for longer verses.

Ina where is the book located in Michaels and is it called a mixed media book? I want one too! Is it spiral bound?
Okay, girls, I went a different way. I already had this easel and decided to use it for my verses! Here is March Joshua 24:15 . I liked Ina's idea of mixed media. So, what do you think?
Sharon...I love the idea of an easel for displaying your Scripture cards. Where did you get it? :-) LM
It was free last year at our daughter's church bookstore if you spent so much money. Can't remember how much I spent, but purchased several books. It has 6 two sided sleeved pages to slip cards into, so I can put a year's worth of verses on it. My daughter has one on her table with the missionary cards in it. They pray for a different missionary everyday using it. I thought I would do that, but had it for a year and didn't. Then when Ina mentioned the book, I looked at JoAnns, and they were expensive, I thought. So, I had this, and wasn't using it. Just made sense! I could add pages too, they just wouldn't have the silver frame these have.
Sharon...Do you know who manufactures it? I would like to google it so I can buy one. :-) LM

I just remembered! sorry! You will never believe this, but the paper that is in the sleeves when it is new says IKEA! Another name is Finlir also on the paper, whatever that means. So, maybe you can find it on the IKEA site.
Sharon...Thanks so much. I googled it and was able to buy it on-line. I appreciate your help. :-) LM

I have plans for mine. My verses that I have memorized this month are Rom 8:38-39. I don't have a stamp for it, so guess I will type it up and print off. .
