I was inspired to catchup last night. I've decided to make 4x6 card fronts that will fit into a beautiful album I received for my birthday from a friend.
Wow, so fun to come home from my seminar this morning on serving the Lord to all of these beautiful creations! Awesome! I left love for PurplePeopleEater, Krista, Ky, and Kim! And Krista, nice to have you join us! Blessings!

Here is how I documented my study of the word, KINDESS. As usual, this study was a blessing. I am continually amazed by where God leads me in these studies. I have an anticipated or expected path and destination. Yet, somewhere along the way, God gently pushes me down a different path and a unique and inspiring destination.
Anyone else getting stuff like this from your studies? I expected to be in the area of 'because you showed kindness to the least of these...', I instead was directed to God's perfect woman (Pr 31:26) who teaches kindness.
From that, God showed me that we don't always receive a blessing from the person we show kindness to, but rather, we are blessed by God for being faithful to where He directs our kindness.
So, I decided I needed a place to document the random acts of kindness that He causes me to do, and the RAKs He generously sends my way. He also showed me that kindness isn't just between His children, but is also expressed through those over which we have dominion (hence the bunny picture grooming my DH).
I hope this long post blesses you.

Ky, that happens to me a lot. I go into I guess with "my own agenda." And come out going "wow"!!!!!!! I love when it happens because I love to see God that way. I love what He showed you, and thank you so much for sharing! Oh, and I left ya some love in the gallery!

I have read through the entire thread and want to join you all. It will take time to cover each word as it is covered in Scripture and how God wants me to grow and learn. I will post once I make up a card or page even if a little behind schedule. Thank you, Patter, for all the work you put into this thread.
Welcome EleeK! We are so glad to have you join us. Take your time, and don't worry about being behind. There is no "being behind" in this study!
And Diana and Cindy, you both have love in the gallery!
Cindy, I am SO glad to have you back. I have really missed you, and I hadn't heard about the storm until I got your message the other day! Hang in there girl. I am praying!

Change will happen with or without you. Every moment in time is unique. Do not fear change, embrace it because that is how God shapes you moment by moment into what He has in store for you.
1 Corinthians 15:51-52; If nothing ever changed, there would be no butterflies (author unknown).
Have a sacred Sabbath.

What a beautiful quote!

CHANGE & PEACE. I spent the week contemplating these words, poring over scripture and thinking about what God's message to me might be. This past month has certainly been one of change - I returned to work after a 12 month maternity leave and my daughter started daycare. Some days I'd come home wondering if I'm meant to be at work when I'd rather be at home with Sarah. Other days I felt the pull to be at work immersed in new projects and then of course the guilt of not being with Sarah. Despite these uncertainties, it's heartening to know that God offers the biggest and best change of all for those who trust and abide in him.
And that's what led me to my choice of scripture for PEACE, because it gives me peace to think about the important things in life - those things that are spelled out in Galatians 5: 22-23. My design is perhaps too literal a translation with the fruit images, but it's a fun set that was just crying out to be taken off the shelf!
Thanks for reading. My cards for these words are here: CHANGE, PEACE

Hi everyone! Sorry I have been a bit MIA. I have a LOT going on here not to mention dh is in India. I had a huge deadline last week, and I have one this week too that I have GOT to get in the mail today. I am behind so I had to let some of my computer time go but I will try and be on top of things now.
Krista, thanks for sharing about the recent change in your life. I know it has to be hard but thankfully you have the God of Peace with you. Hugs to you and your precious "stamping assistant."
And there is love waiting in the gallery for Ky, Teresa, Jackie, and Krista! Have a blessed day everyone!

I got two more done! Looks like I skipped week 5. (change) I remember looking through the Scriptures, (NIV) but the Lord wasn't leading me in any paticular direction. Hopefully I'll get back to week 5 before Friday. If not maybe this weekend.
I got a little carried away with the stickles on the Peace layout, but it was sooo fun! ;)
