Default Using Digi Background Paper

I found gorgeous digital background papers on SheryKDesigns Etsy Site but was wondering if anybody has been using printed digi papers long enough to tell me whether the colors stay vibrant over time. I love the idea of paying once and using many times, but would hate to think that after all the time I spend making my cards that they will fade over time as compared to purchased DSPs.

What has been your experience with printing the Digi papers?

Excellent site - very reasonably priced. I purchased some digis where online it looked pink but when I printed it turned peach - used genuine brother ink but couldn't figure it out.

The trick to printing digi papers is to use a photo quality paper. I use 3 different kinds: matte photo paper, presentation paper, and brochure & flyer paper. When using these types of papers, they will stay vibrant just as if you had printed a photograph. Most inks & photo papers are rated to last about 100 years when stored properly. I'm sure that's long enough for any card. If you want to take a peek at my gallery, you will see that a lot of my more recent cards are made with digi papers I printed out.

Thanks -- I will definitely check out your gallery. That's great information to know on the papers to use.
