Hello. I have Photoshop Elements so I really do not need the My Digital studio software. Does Stampin' Up! offer a package where you can just purchase the content that has been released so far?
You do not need MDS software to use their digital brushes/papers/stamps. They come in standard PNG/JPG formats or .abr for Photoshop. You just have to make sure you make the right selection when you are completing your purchase, it asks if you are using MDS or other software. HTH.

Yes, I'm aware of this fact. What I was asking was if there was a package or download that offered the digital content such as the stamps and papers that come with MDS without buying the original software. Am I making sense?
In the summer mini there is a grouping of content that is included in the program for 1/2 the price of the program - 39.95. But there are no groupings of any of the subsequent releases. It is called My Digital Studio Express Downloadable Booster Pack #124484. You can see the content at www.mydigitalstudio.net in the resource tab.

The My Design Studio link above is going to a spam site for web hosting

Reason: CORRECTED LINK
I think I want to buy the My Design Studio primarily for the papers.
I know I prefer actual stamps
Often I only like a couple of the designs in the paper pack and don't want to spend $9.95 for a couple of sheets of paper. Or I want several sheets of a specific design and I would need to buy several packs for that.
It seems MDS would solve those issues
However I am a tad overwhelmed
My daughter gave me PhotoShop Elements for Mother's Day, but I have yet to figure it out.
If I buy MDS and I say it is to use with the MDS software can I also import the images into PhotoShop Elements?? Or must I choose when I buy it ?
I saw a video that appeared to be showing that you can "reduce the print size " on the paper . Is that true? I only make cards and many times the prints are too large for cards. They were designed for scrapbook pages
There are additional digital paper packs available that can only be purchased on-line. They are sent as a download. They don't charge shipping on those downloads do they?
I want to be sure this will work for me before I spend that much money
Any advise is appreciated
Thanks

It is My Digital Studio mydigitalstudio dot net not dot com not sure how else to get this across, the site just popped the link in there!
I am going to take a shot at a few of the other questions you have too...yes, you can change the size of the printed sentiments to fit your space/tag/punch. I am about 99% sure that there is no additional charge for the download. NOt sure about importing photoshop elements.
Any chance that you will be a hostess in the near future after July 1? If so, you might wait to buy it. New hostess program has some nice new bennies!
i just bought it and am not any kind of an expert, but there are some wizards here!

Thanks my Demo suggested I do a book party if I buy it so I can get the incentives.
I want to reduce the prints on the paper.
I tried to sign up on the My Digital Studio and it won't take my registration, because you must provide a photo and I don't have a photo of my self . I tried to use a card I made but it won't take that .
This is so frustrating. Maybe I need to find other digital papers to buy and forget about the MDS.
My demo has no answers because she has not used hers. She also doesn't know about the shipping on a download or reducing the prints on the paper

I can tell you for a fact that you can use any of the downloads in Photoshop Elements which is why I am asking if the content was available for download somewhere in a bundle. I know it works because I downloaded a stamp set just to try it. Barbara, I can see you being overwhelmed. It is definitely a lot to try to learn both programs at once.
Just an update on my original reply. There are now 4 groupings of downloads available on DVDs in the new catalog. However, they are all new content for 2011-12. The Booster Pack to MDS Express has the original content that went in the full version. But still no groupings of the weekly releases after the original program. They did have a sale on some groupings of downloads last May, so it could happen again some day. The correct link to the catalog is www.mydigitalstudio.net and go to Resources.
