Question PSE help..?

Hi All, I'm new to digi's...so far LOVIN it! I need some help...I have a stamp with 3 tie's (men's), and I want to make them 3 different colors/designs (stripes, circles, crazy colors) I use PSE, can anyone point me to where I can find a tutorial?? Or, if there is another way of doing this? I doubt that I could color them myself without making them look very messy. Also, I'm scissor challenged and doubt that I could cut them out and stamp them...any help would be greatly appreciated!

Sorry I wish I could help, I dont have PSE. I have a paint program, but really dont know how to do it anyway lol
I would just color them different, by hand. Shouldnt be too hard. OR, just paper piece them that would be really easy.

Are you talking about colouring in the image, or changing the colour of the lines? To colour in the image, you would just use your paint brush. Pick your colour, then "paint" in the area where you want that colour. I'm not entirely sure how to change the line colours in PSE (I haven't used it since about version 2), but I know that there are literally thousands of tutorials out there. I'm sure you would find one that would show you how to do it if you googled for it.

In PSE use the Magic Wand or another section brush to get "marching ants" around the part of the image that you want to color in. Once you have your selection, hit [ctrl] while clicking on the layer in the Layers Palette. Hit create New Layer. Your selection should now show as an outline in that new layer. Choose your color in the color and use the Paint Can to click in your new layer to fill that selection. You can then use other filters and Layer Styles to change the way that layer looks. I recommend checking out these sites for some tutorials: Scrappers Guide, Two Peas in a Bucket, and AdobePhotoShopUser.com.

Good luck.

In re-reading your post, I guess if what you are saying is that you have an actual rubber stamp, you'll have to stamp your images and scan them or take a photo of them and then load that up into PSE before you can manipulate the colors and styles...
