It's a brand new year and I thought it might be fun to have our very own chat thread for the digi-scrappers!
Feel free to post your comments, freebie or good deal alerts, new challenge notices, or links to your pages here. Whether you're a big chatter or just like to read others' posts, this will be the place to go!
I wanted to make you aware of a couple of other things that will make your digi-scrapping experience even better! GOALS THREAD: This will be the fifth year that Lela (lmn) has kept the Goals threads going. I know I get lots more pages done since I've hung out on this thread. Each person can share their page goals, pages and ideas. for those of use who like Annual Goals, we will have a better shot at meeting our yearly goal, so it's broken down month.
You choose your own scrapbook page goal and/or monthly spend goal. You may select 2, 3, 5, 50 pages....whatever...you choose! The idea is to be flexible so if you know you're going to be really busy, you can reduce the number one month or if you're going to a couple crops or scrap weekends, up the number. This also works for the budget. Each month, you can change your goals depending on your calendar!
The whole goal of the challenge is to get lots of pages done all the while enjoying sharing with Virtual Friends.
Below is link for the Goals thread, if you want to set some goals or just get ideas. I love the people who hang out here--many have been my scrappin' buddies for 3 or 4 years!
January 2013 Scrap Pages Chatter & Goals - sbc13jan by Lmn at Splitcoaststampers
CHALLENGES: In the Scrapbooking threads, we have both traditional (paper) and digi-scrap (digital elements & papers) challenges. Although they're listed separately, everyone (traditional, hybrid or digital scrapper) is welcome to play any or all of them!
For easy access, I've bookmarked both of the above forums in my browser.
GALLERY KEYWORD: If you post your page(s), (and we hope you do, but it's not required), please be sure to add the keyword "sbc13jan" for January (sbc13Feb for February, etc.) along with any other keywords you choose. We'd love to "oohh" and "aahh" over your pages and this way, we can go right to the pages of our scrappy and challenge buddies and they can find ours too! It's always nice to get some "love," don't you agree?
So, I think that about covers it. This can be one of your "go-to" places, but it doesn't mean you should stop commenting in the individual challenge threads or posting links to your creations in them.
Let's make this a fabulous Digi-Scrappy 2013, O.K?????!!!!!!!!!!!!
Also, our favorite "corrupter" FMcrafter has started a new challenge this week called You Can Do It .
Brief description: "This is a new challenge; here you can be challenged to do anything. It can be based upon a colour, a word, a technique, an ad you saw…..anything you can find that interests you..Splitcoast and YouTube is your playground."
This isn't a digi challenge, but FMcrafter told me about it starting today and I thought some of you might enjoy playing. You can check it out here:
Also, don't forget you're welcome to play the challenges in the traditional scrap forum too; no matter whether you're a traditional, hybrid or digi scrapper. You can find them here:

Awesome page, Angela. Please tell her so. You should start an album on SCS for her!
My DGDs like to scrap too, sometimes they do pages at my house, and sometimes at home, but they're paper pages. My older DGD (10) is good on the computer, but so far hasn't gotten into digi-scrapping. She does awesome Powerpoint presentations for school. These days, the kids start young using all the digital tools for some app or other!
