DGSC115 – Wearing O’Green - 3/11/14

When it has been awhile since I created a page I usually go looking for something – or some things! – for inspiration. This time I was looking at
PageMaps for a sketch and catching up on Facebook at the same time and around the same time saw two things that tickled my interest. First was this sketch from Feb 2014

Second was this delicious piece of cake posted by a friend that came up in my newsfeed:

So many things to love about this inspiration – the textures, the shades of green combined with the soft ivories and white, the shapes…what inspires you about the photo?!
Choose a layout of YOUR choice – on PageMaps or another fave source, and take some inspiration from the Wearing O’Green cake and get to work! Of course, with St. Patrick’s Day coming up that’s another great reason to go with the green - but don't be blocked by the idea that you have to make your page about the holiday! In fact, push yourself to think past St. Pat's and choose another subject that will be perfect for the soft green hues of this colour challenge.
