I'm so excited to be a part of these Digital Scrapbooking Challenges! I'm fairly new to digital scrapbooking, but I've been traditionally scrapbooking and papercrafting for about 10 years. I'm loving this new digital medium! I hope you be able to challenge you and have a lot of fun through these challenges! So let's get started with this week's challenge:
Less is More
I'd like to see you interpret this as you will. It could mean just one photo, or a very short title. It could be a lot of white space with very little embellishments. For me, I went easy on the techniques. I tend to try so many new techniques that it takes FOREVER to finish a page! I was able to knock this one out in about an hour. So, have fun with this one!
Remember to use the keyword, DGSC067, when uploading your card so we can all see your creation. It helps if you link it up back here too. You can view the entire gallery for this challenge HERE

Welcome Hannah. We are SO glad you decided to join in on the digi scrapping side too! I like your challenge. I'll have think a little on this one and maybe slip in another page to coordinate with the current progressive challenge page I'm working on. Have to work now though so it'll be this evening before I can get back to scrapping!
By the way, everyone, in case you didn't already know, Hannah is a Dirty Dozen Alumni (the highest honor on SCS!) as well as a co-host for the Thursday Ways To Use It Challenges here on SCS. We're so thrilled she's going to be co-hosting our challenge too!
This is a hard one for me as well. I always start with a template and change, recolor, resize, and add photos. So only using one and making minimal changes was hard! Thanks for the challenge!
I really enjoyed this challenge. I probably used MORE than I needed to, but I tend to have a relatively clean and simple style anyway. I decided to interpret the challenge to be ONE page for ONE event. I have probably 75 photos from this party, and many that I love, but I narrowed it down to just these four.
Here's my page, which I did in conjunction with the bi-weekly Inspiration Challenge -- this week it was "What the Dunk' --we had to pick a pair of sneakers from the "What the Dunk" website to inspire our page.
For Hannah's "Less is More" challenge, I tried my hand at a "simple" page, since I normally love to embellish!
Here's my page...I normally try to use TONS of photos when I do a page so I very seldom use only one picture. However, in this layout, I only had one picture taken so it worked out really well. I did try to remember to use the rule of 3 too!
The only difficult part was the clipart. When I right clicked on it, it saved as a .gif file and even though I could click and drag it onto my page in PSE, it wouldn't stay on the layout. I had to keep googling to find out how to convert it to a jpeg but then I found I could save it as a .png file through microsoft's Paint program on my PC! However, it brought along all the white background too so I had a LOT of erasing to do very carefully to get just Spongebob to show but it was worth the effort! TFL!
