Thanks for the encouragement Wendy, actually I dived in because have noticed your digi postings in other threads. Yes I agree everyone here is always so helpful and loves to share tips.
I'm glad to hear you were sufficiently enticed to play! ;)
And did I remember to say it was FREE? The best price And the one lesson is using Photoshop Brushes....hint, hint!
It would be very good for those that need some help remembering or just getting started. I signed up for it just because I know it'll be in my account forever to go back and review down the road in case I forget or need a refresher course
Thanks for pointing this out Terry. I'm in - see you in class! I haven't been to that site in quite a while, just may visit a while longer and think about more classes.

Jessica, the goal is to learn, grow and just get scrapping! Stamp brushes are png image files that have a clear background - so they can be layered on top of each other and photo, and that you can change the color on.
I can't wait to see your page!
Terri

Great pages everyone! My concern/question about starting digi is the amount of space it will take up on computer. Our family shares one laptop so any suggestions?

You can use an external hard drive for your digi stuff. Whatever you decide, though, it's important to back your stuff up. I don't share my computer, so I have an internal drive for my digi, then I back it all up on a large external drive (I've been digi-scrapping for several years and have a lot of pages and kits, so I need space!) Some people back up to an online site.
Here are a couple of threads in the Digital Stamping sub-forum that talk about storage that might be helpful:
between my husband and myself we have about 100GB of pictures and i have about
35GB digital scrap art work and then whatever space your software takes up. we have 4 people, 4 laptops, 3 desktops. all this is on my desktop. i cant scrap from my laptop, i dont see well and need a big big screen! i back up all my scrapbook stuff on an external hard drive. i would lay down and die if i lost all those files.

I'm with you, Lori! I have more than 35GB and it would be devastating to lose my heartfelt work or hard-earned digi kits!!
WHEW! It's been ages since I've done a digital page. Thank you to all the hostesses for coming together to restart the digi challenges. Here is my page:
I finally started these challenges! I added it to my gallery with the keywords, but I'm not seeing it in the Challenges gallery? Maybe I'll check later or did I do something wrong? I have NO CLUE how to add all those links in these replies that would take you to the page....ugh : (
there is a tutorial on how to add the links. it works with regular email too, i feel so techy when i use it! i send pinterest things to my kids and they can just click on the word and my son called and was very impressed with me!

Either you figured it out , or it just took some time for SCS to catch up with your post (there's often a lag time before you see it in the gallery.)
