I needed some inspiration today so I thought I'd try an old Color Challenge with the Technique Challenge today (Japanese Stap Binding) so here is my card:
Ok, I didn't have brocade blue paper but I tried to use something similar and I think the DP is Rose Red but wasn't sure. I combined this w/ SC01. Also, the re-inker I used to make the bubbles was a non-su blue but I think it came close. The picture is dark but the card itself is Night of Navy.
This sure is a wonderful way to use up some of these discontinued colors. Thanks for those who put this challenge together for us! You are appreciated!
I am stretching all the way back to find a color scheme that I thought would be suitable for my Christmas card watercolor night sky...and I found it in CC03 - Night of Navy, Rose Red, Brocade Blue (I substituted a tiny bit of Marine Mist).
