Color Challenge #48
Hi, my name is Linda and I am honored to be the guest hostess for this week's color challenge.
I am way into color, and I get my inspiration from some of the darndest things. My friend's purse gave me the idea for this challenge.
The color combo this week is Not Quite Navy and Creamy Caramel. Any of the neutrals may also be used.
Here are several examples:
Card by Becky Hay de Garcia:

***Please be sure to put CC48 in your key words. Also post a link here for all of us to see!***
Thanks for playing!! Happy stamping!!

You are one sweetie-pie to post it tonight so I can sleep on it and dream of a stamp set to go with these colors.

My immediate thought is usually floral, so I forced myself to think outside the floral box for this one. I bought this set to make masculine cards but find it hard to use. This was a great push to make a masculine card.
Here's mine...(pending at 9:23 EST)

Maybe later I'll do a floral one just because!!

I keep trying to paste my card but for some reason I can't get it over here.
Thanks Linda for stepping up to bat this week. This was a hard challenge for me. Two colors I hardly ever pull out. Why I ever picked a flower theme I will never know.
maybe I will try come up with something more worthy later.

These are great colors together. I don't use Not Quite Navy a lot, so this challenge was perfect.

I'm off to play. This is going to be a hard one for me because I am not the biggest fan of Not Quite Navy. Hmmmm.... *puts thinking cap on*

I did another, floral this time, it was eating away at me not to, LOL.
I wondered what bleach would do to the NQN, it started to turn it purple and b/c I was impatient to let it dry I took the heat gun to it and that turned the wet spots white....interesting, so I had to use purple in the center to match. It looks kinda like Batik with the 2 colors. I think I like.

Linda, I love the cards being made with this color combo! That's cool that a purse inspired you. I don't have Not Quite Navy. I played with my colored pencils to see if I could find a match but didn['t get lucky :( So, I'll keep watching and be a cheerleader

I posted my first reply to the wrong place. Sorry everyone!
Here is my attempt. I did not have NQN so I used Night of Navy.
