Hellocolorlovers! It's Jeanne starting off March and bringing you color challenge 885.
Before we get to it, let's see who was Mary's favorite from last week. She chose Saffron & Heather at Pumpkin Harvest by Mary aka octoberbabe. Mary said "I loved her choice of designer paper and the subtle background splatters on the paper- her floral images are colored wonderfully . She combined all this in a great layout with a finishing touch of ribbon."
Congratulations Mary! The code to add the badge to your blog is below. We will also feature your card on our Pinterest Board. See that here.
Now for this week's challenge - are you ready for Pink and Purple Macarons?
Polished Pink Purple Posy Mint Macaron
Neutrals of your choice
Please keep in mind that while we list SU colors for the challenges these are just color reference points. Use the closest colors you have. We want everyone to play!
Please put CC885 in your keywords section (if you have more than one please separate them with commas) so we can find your card.
I had the papers in these colors from I pack from Hobby Lobby I bought months ago. I don't have the inks or markers in these colors, so, searching through my embossing folders and dies, I came up with this. It isn't very exciting, but I met the challenge anyway. I did a second card with the colors. Purple Post replaced Very Vanilla on the bottom layer. On the three color gradient, the Polished Pink moved to the top and So Saffron became the middle color. The sun is now Very Vanilla. Which arrangement do you like better?
