HelloStampin'Friends!!! I'm Holley Smith, and I am so very honored and excited to be your guest Hostess for this week's Color Challenge!
But before we get started with this weeks color challenge, let's celebrate the favorite from CC766
Stef was last weeks host and she chose this double twist delightfrom Catherine aka cdimick.
Stef said: "Her double twist easel card is beautiful in design, incorporating the challenge colors (love the plaid base!) as well as the metallic dessert!"
Congratulations Catherine! The code to add the badge to your blog is attached below, and your card will also be pinned on our Pinterest Challenge board. Check it out here.
Now let's check out this week's color combo!
real red early espresso mossy meadow
You are always welcome to use the Neutral shades from Stampin'-Up in addition to the challenge colors. You can find those colors here.
Dessert: is to include sponging on your card
And here's some inspiration from your color challenge design team
Also, even though we list SU colors for the challenges, these are just color reference points. Use the closest colors you have. We want everyone to be able to play!!!
Please put CC766 in your keywords section (and if you have more than one challenge use a comma to separate them). We want to be able to find your cards!
Thanks so much Stef, for choosing my Double Twist Delight as your favorite for the CC765 color challenge...I am excited and honored! Blessings, Catherine
I love this old Christmas dsp pack, but I don’t think I’ve ever used this (early espresso) gingerbread house pattern on a card because it’s so big. This is a big card. (5.25 square) With a big image, I think it works!
So much for progress on Christmas cards -- DD and DH said they need a bunch of thank you cards. Sigh. This one was super easy and quick, thanks to an old SAB set. I should have embossed solid espresso layer with an EF but it's already mailed. Next time. thankful for Q&E cards by lutheran - at Splitcoaststampers
