I love the challenges that make me try combos that I wouldn't ordinarily use, or even think to use! This was one of those. Great colors! Thanks Emily and jen70!

I decided to do today's challenge to take a break from some of the Asian cards I've been working on. I had a great time. I sure wish I had the new colors! I had to use the substitutes.
Here it is:

OK, I had time to do another one - loving the colors (but in this case, I had to use the substitutions)

OK - so I was a bit liberal with my substitutions. But I like this color combo and look forward to seeing what everyone else does. Here's my card:

I have the In Color cardstock, but none of the In Color inks. So I'm trying to make do with wc crayons and other inks that sort of match.

Here is my card -
The Fishin' Buckaroo - hope you like it. Had fun, since I don't get to use this set too much. I also tried a new technique (to me) on this card, and I like the looks of it, but will have to play more to get it right.

Was sure I still had some buckaroo . . . all gone! Did have the marigold. I sub'd close to cocoa for the ch chip too. Got ch organdy and ink.
--Joyce
Okay then! I deleted the picture of the card. Wasn't a window I was going for. Traditional Jewish people, to my understanding that is, have two strings of hair, I guess, coming down each side. And doesnt the prayer belt, I don't recall the correct name, have something that hangs with a knot at the end? I have re thought the card. Really got to work on something else to give it a more Jewish feel.
Thanks for looking and sharing your opinions. I appreciate you all very much!
