It is Pam hosting this weeks color challenge. I am excited that summer is already here in South Carolina and I just love these colors for the beach!
Let's get starting with the fave from last week. Barbara was our hostess and she chose the beautiful Hello Hollyhocksby Susia aka PaperPunchScissors.
Barbara said:"I adore the way Susie watercolored the hollyhocks on her card, even doing some color blending. The bright colors in front and the softer colors behind really draw the eye to the flowers. I especially appreciate her how-to description, and I can't wait to try this technique myself"!
Congratulations Susie! The code to add the badge to your blog is attached below, and your card also will be pinned on our Pinterest Challenge board. Check it out HERE.
And, since it's a new month we also have 2 new guest designers. Bringing their amazing paper crafting skills is Bev aka guneauxdesigns and Jeannie aka Lv2grdn. Bev was the fave from both CC657 and CC687. Jeannie was the fave from CC648.
Now onto this week's Challenge. The colors for this week are:
Cherry Cobbler Crumb Cake Marina Mist
The dessert option is: Beach
Here are some samples from our desgin team to get your juices flowing!
Please keep in mind that while we list SU colors for the challenges, these are just color reference points. Use the closest colors you have. We want everyone to be able to play!!!
Please put CC690 in your keywords section (and if you have more than one challenge, use a comma to separate them) so we can find your card!

this week's color challenge worked well with my Nevada trip inspired card. I used a watercolor bleed panel for my sky and a crumpled paper bag for the dry landscape. Used a tan and red striped and scalloped set of vertical borders for accents. Here's Nevada deer

I combined one card for two cards. Pam these are gorgeous rich colors and I loved playing with them!
Jacqueline, I decided to do the bottom row of your tic tac toe; but forgot to look at the designation, I will send one out of my stash to her. Great idea though for the challenge!!
