Hi all - Going with some Spring time colors for this week's challenge. First off though, we have to find out who was our Color Challenge Favorite was from last week.
Mary was our hostess and she chose this fun card by Roberta aka stampin'nana - Bon Appetite. Mary said:"this is a great masculine card- love the big old polka dot coat that he is wearing and the whimsical background".
Congratulations Roberta! Your blog badge is below.
Onto this week's colors: Daffodil Delight, Indigo Island, Garden Green
Please keep in mind, too, that while we list SU colors for the challenges, these are just color reference points. Use the closest colors you have. We want everyone to be able to play!!!
Please put CC580 in your keywords section (and if you have more than one challenge, use a comma to separate them) so we can find your card!
Had fun combining a reverse dc turquoise panel as an overlay to a green layer, and topped it with a multicolored floral panel with a dc half circle yellow daisy shape. I used SU's Yummy for my sentiment, stamped in a berry color. Here's A Little Something

Vicki- awesome colors, thanks! I went for a second card as I found this wonderful embossed floral panel in my stash from my stamping buddies- did a bit of coloring- and added some dc leaves and a pair of dc flourishes. Finished with a handwritten sentiment. Here's Yellow Flowers

I'm really busy today, but I just Adore these pretty colors, so I made a card anyhow! ; )
I want to say a BIG Thank You to Mary for choosing my card as your favorite last week! It certainly brought some sunshine to my day!
Inspired by my DS who loves to grill and cook- he's making winter based veggies pot roast with bacon and red wine for dinner, paired with garlic mashed potatoes- heaven!
My card is based on TE's Bobby with its matching greeting, along with a sponged sky and whimsical blades of grass. Added a black and white border, topped with a yellow washi tape embellishment. Here's Grill Master

For the color challenge, I had fun using a lighthouse image and some sponging along with swiping my ink pads against the papers- adding texture with a fabric strip and some twine for ties. Here's Sunny Day Lighthouse

Hopefully it's ok if I didn't use all the colors...I made a card with yellow and green, although used Gina K Designs colors, not SU's as thats what I have. My card can be found here.
