Funny, I just pulled out my Cameo Coral last weekend after a LONG hiatus. I've always loved it with Ballet Blue, but the Lavendar works for me too. Here goes:
Wow, when I first read this challenge, I thought those colors sounded awful together, but all the samples I've seen are awesome! Need a birthday card for tomorrow, so here I go!
Well, I've uploaded my CC47, and it is still pending. I hit the enter button before I was finished filling in the details, but I figured I didn't need to re-do it. Here is the link:

Barb, for future reference.... you can edit the notes on an upload even while it's pending approval. Then you don't have to go through the approval process again.

Hi Melody...I thought I should be able to do that, but all I saw was an edit button for the admin...what did I miss? Thanks, :???:

That is the place you edit. If you hold your cursor over it, it will highlight & you click it to make changes. No one else will see that edit button on your card -- just you. It takes a while to figure out all the things we can do on this site. I'm still learning, too. And there are probably some shortcuts that others use that I don't even know exist. I'm a bit slow with all the new technology. I basically learn what I need to know, and every once in a while, I'll be reading a post & someone makes a great suggestion, so I just copy it & try it to see if it's something I should use or not. That way, I'm learning just a little at a time & not trying to cram all this new information into my head.

Hi all, I got home late tonight and saw the challenge, the few cards I had a chance to look at are great. I will post comments tomorrow. I whipped up a quickie card, I have never used these colors together, it was a little difficult for me. I posted my card but its still pending, here is the link: Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
Hope you all like it
Here's my card for this challenge...I've been unable to participate in weekly challenges lately, so it's nice to pick it up again! Image is probably still pending...

Haven't done a color challenge in a while and it feels good to get back 'in'! Not only that, I actually got a card done *early* for a friends bday on the 10th! Woo Hoo!
I think I had a bit too much fun with these colors tonight. They're not colors I would normally think to use together, but the more I played with them, the more fun I had.
Great colours, Melody! Very spring-like. Cameo coral was the first pink SU pink that I ever bought, and I still think it's their best pink. And lavender lace is my favourite SU purple. I've never put them together in one card, though. Until now!

Ok, I got a challenge card made! Woo Hooo! My second challenge! Didn't think I'd like this color combo but I really do. Not sure I"m totally happy with my card, but I think the colors worked great. It just seems kinda "busy" to me. I hated it, then loved it, now I"m just "satisfied" with it. It's going in the mail tomorrow morning to my sister in the hospital, I think she will like it! Hope so anyway! Thanks for looking and thanks for the challenge!!

my first challenge card!!
I needed a Bday card for DS's Kinder teacher for tomorrow so I thought I'd come to the challenges arena for inspiration. This is my first attempt at a Splitcoast Challenge, actually attemptS since I'm combining a sketch challenge too (SC57).
Thanks for hosting an interesting color combo! I was skeptical of using lavendar and coral with BLACK at first. It grew on me so much I may use it again.
I made a Colour Blocked card yesterday for the Technique Challenge and the colours were very similar to this. I need to make three sister-in-law birthday cards this month so I thought why not make a similar one using these colours!
I just posted it (1:30pm MST) so it will take a while to be approved.
