These were really different colors together... But you know after I played with it for a while it kind of grew on me. It looks better in real life, my scanner makes things washed out. Here's my card...
I just had to edit because I noticed I made Yo-Yo look so good it looks like Summer Sun (Big Dummy) I had to dig in the scrap box!!!! and not match my colors. Just pretend you see Yo-Yo Yellow. Sorry
Here's my card. I had the though a couple of times over the past two weeks that Yoyo Yellow is a challenging color to make work because it so often overpowers the artwork. At the same time my son used to always say, "Mom you can't see the yellow". I've also read that a little bit of yellow in your composition can really make it pop. Soooo, clearly the challenges are really there, but worth working on! Here is my card. I think this color combo is striking.
Okay, I got so excited to do this because of all the lovely cards in the gallery. However, mine is not what I had anticipated. I don't have the right colors to begin with......secondly, I should have left well enough alone! Will post mine momentarily.

Before you look, I must make a confession...I really don't like YoYo Yellow...yet for some reason...I am 100% thrilled with how my card turned out...please let me know what you think...
Thanks again Emily for making us all think outside our color boxes...I tend to live in the Rich Regals box...LOL so this was a real stretch for me...good thing I was able to make a card that I am proud of...LOL
Very interesting colors. I actually like them together. All I have seen are awesome. Here is mine. It is not my favorite creation but I am just starting to create and my supplies are very limited.

THANKS Emily for choosing my suggestion to go with this color combo! I told you it was odd but it really works. ;) I couldn't remember the last time I used Yo-Yo Yellow paper and from the sound of things y'all were challenged as well. All the cards I've seen so far are fabulous!! Rock on! :-D
CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHY MY CARD WON"T SHOW UP IN THE CC151 gallery???? The keywords are correct???? HELP??
Should I delete it and reupload??
Sometimes it takes a while. You might want to try reuploading, or change the category of your upload (that worked for me a few weeks back... it was a cyber burp, I guess).

Well, it took awhile, but here it is. I had a hard time getting in my head that I COULD make the yellow work. Thanks for taking a peek at my Hippy Yo Yo Valentine!
