Here is my second one using the color challenge. What fun colors. I ahd to use turq. in place of carribean because I used WWcrayons for the coloring- Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
MANY stampers here can't afford to waste money on colors that are only available a short time. Yes, you could buy reinkers, but how many could afford to purchase a lifetime supply of matching CS? It's one thing not to have one of the regular colors, but "limited edition" colors? And if you think this challenge hasn't become exclusive, consider that 16 of the last 30 have included "special" colors. I used to enjoy challenging my creativity with the weekly CC, but when it includes "special" colors week after week? No wonder I rarely check this challenge anymore.
I did not invest in the "in color" inks, but I did get a pkg. of the assorted "in color" cardstock. I just use an ink that looks close enough, and most of the time with the picture and upload, you can hardly ever tell it's any different. Only those of us who KNOW they don't match can tell!! I started off participating in the challenges with the color challenges first, and it has been such a great learning experience for me!!

Emily, is there any way we could get the template that Leigh used for the ATC size cards in the book. I would buy the file from her!! lol I would love to put together one of those books for my own personal use. It would be a ball. Would you ask her please??

I know its been a week since this was posted ... and I did look around to see if maybe the template had been posted somewhere but could not find anything. I actually bought one of the ATC books with another idea in mind, but it went south in the face of non-creativity. :P
I LOVE all the cards that have been made with this combo. I usually haunt the sketch challenge section but was desparate for some color idea's tonight and that is what brought me here. I guess I'll have to start splitting my time in all the challenges.
