Here's mine. I was trying to make this into a Christmas "Dreaming of a White Christmas" since that is all we can do in Florida. Fun challenge with these colors.
This was my first elegant eggplant card. I'll have to try this challenge again. I've seen some awesome cards here, but I'm not that impressed with mine. Here it is anyway!
Bethie - someone else here on SCS thought I looked like Courtney too! I have been told I look like the lady that played Nicole on the Young and the Restless and Meg Ryan and now Courtney again! Don't I wish!! You all are too sweet! Thanks for the compliments girls!

Definitely Courtney! Definitely!(in my best rainman voice)
I admit I had my doubts about this color scheme when I read it yesterday, but I really like the way those colors came together. I didn't have any of the new Eggplant color, so I used some Perfect Plum and added some accent colors.
Saw some really gorgeous cards on here last night - thanks Girls!!! You are all wonderfully inspiring.
I tried to combine all of them with some of the latest technique challenges, so there is some cracked glass and faux silk going on in my cards.
Woo-hoo, new stamps to go with a great color combo (that I honestly didn't think I was going to like but now do!). Here's my Cracked Eggplant Blossomscard.
Thanks for all the wonderful comments on my first card, ladies. I'm overwhelmed! I really wasn't impressed. I think it was the BG on the cocoa or maybe the ribbon. I don't know, but when I got home today and saw it in the daylight I said to myself, "Hey, that's a pretty card I made!" LOL! Thanks again for the validation!
Here's another card that I combined with the sketch challenge. I needed a masculine card. I'm unsure about the eggplant for a guy. But playing with color combos that are out of the box for me is fun!
Ok - I am so happy with myself, I have to post about it - but I won't be able to upload the card until I get home. I have just done this challenge! I was also able to combine this challenge with the technique challenge, and the sketch challenge.
This is my attempt to meet both the sketch and the color challenge, not my fav card by far. I really need copper embossing powder, I think it would look better. The soft shimmer of the copper pad doesn't really show in the scan.
This WAS a challenge for me! I'm not sure about my card, but I do think the colors look very elegant together and I'd like to try again to see what I come up with!! I've been running late with this, but I guess this is my first "week" to do any of the challenges...fun! Here's mine:
